主題：屬靈生活的保障

1. 七十多年前，The Columban Fathers在華埠創辧了羅省華人天主教中心。本堂得到他們服務和帶領四十多年下，一路發展到今天。為感謝他們及支持他們的工作，本堂張支持他們在九月的籌款餐舞會。詳情在彌撒後請與Joe Ng 或 Maggie Lau 查詢.
2. 我們邀請所有青年參加於8月19日的青年同樂日 12:30pm 免費午餐和水槍遊戲。詳情請向Richard Cheung 報名。
3. 加州華人天主教生活營現已開始接受報名。今年的主題是：“主的呼喚：你會回應祂嗎？”請來認識有關聖召並回應主的召叫，現在的生活是不是天主要我度的生活呢。今年的生活營將在8月31日至9月3日在聖堤巴巴拉古傳教站舉行。如在8月2日前報名，學生和沒有工作者$150，已在工作者 $200。詳情請與Nathan Lau查詢或瀏覽網址www.cacclc.org.
4. 今天健康舞班練習在下午12時30分至3時30分在聖若瑟樓舉行，請準時出席。
5. 8月6曰是耶穌顯聖容慶曰，非當守瞻禮日，請各教友參與彌撒，求主向我們顯示他的面容，降偪保祐我們。
6. 8月8日聖道明司鐸紀念，他是道明修會的創始人。
7. 聖母軍將於8月11日星期六,早上9時半舉行聖母升天彌撒，歡迎教友參加。
8. 下學期兒童道理班將在九月二十三日開始，請各家長為你們的孩子與Peter Wong 報名。如你6，7歲的孩子還沒有領聖體，請也與Peter Wong報名參加初領聖體班。
9. 瓜達蘆比(Guadalupe)聖母祈禱大會將於今天在L.A. Coliseum舉行。敬請各參加的教友下午1時30分準時回到教堂集合，詳情請向聖母軍查詢。

The Eighteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time

1. More than seventy years ago, the Columban fathers established the Los Angeles Chinese Catholic Center. It is due to their ministry and guidance of more than forty years that we have accomplished what we have today. In gratitude and appreciation of their work, we will avidly support their fund raising dinner dance in September. For details, please contact Joe Ng or Maggie Lau after Mass.
2. We invite all the youth to join in the Youth Fun Day on August 19. There will be free lunch at 12:30 followed by a water pistol game. For details and registration please contact Richard Cheung.
3. The California Chinese Catholic Living Camp is currently open for registration. This year’s theme is “Super You, Super Me – Are we who we’re called to be? 主的呼喚：你會回應祂嗎?” Come and learn more about vocations and what God is calling you to be in your life, and meet lots of new friends! CACCLC will be at Old Mission Santa Barbara – Friday, August 31 to Monday, September 3. Early Bird registration is going on now – the cost for Students and Unemployed registrants is only $150; and $200 for Working. Early Bird registration will end August 2. 4. There will be line dance today from 12:30 to 2:30 in St. Joseph House.
5. Tomorrow, Monday, August 6 is the Feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord. Though it is not a holy day of obligation, all parishioners are invited to attend Mass, and pray the Lord to bestow his visage and blessing to us.
6. Wednesday, August 8 is the memorial of St. Dominic, the founder of the Dominicans.
7. The Legion of Mary will sponsor a Mass on Saturday, August 11 at 9:30 a.m. to celebrate the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. All parishioners are invited.
8. C.C.D. for next school year will resume on September 23, 2012. Please register with Peter Wong. And if your six- or seven-year-old has not received Holy Communion yet, please also register with Peter Wong for the First Communion class.
9. The prayer meeting in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe will take place today at the L.A. Coliseum. All participating parishioners please return to the Church to assemble by 1:30 sharp. For details please contact the Legion of Mary.
