主題：門徒的代價

1. 羅省華人天主教恊會敬請各教友參與本堂的七十三年堂慶晚會。當晚的晚宴將會表揚吳榮安搏士(Dr. Won Ng) 的五十二年為堂區的服務及支持。今年的主題「琴鼓和諧樂滿堂」提醒我們團結和亙相扶助，和諧共融是我們信仰的力量。這晚會已定于本年10月20日晚上六時在漢宮大酒樓舉行，餐劵及抽獎券現已開始售賣，誠意敬請各教友踴躍支持，詳情請與Lucia Tam 626-221-2888或恊會會員詢查。
2. 下學期兒童道理班將在九月二十三日開學，請各家長在當天早上9時30分帶同你們的孩子到聖若瑟樓報到及參與家長，老師會議。
3. 本堂區兒童道理班及成人道理班的導師及助理，將于今天早上9時30分至下午3時在聖若瑟樓舉行退省，請各導師及助理準時出席。
4. 本堂區太極班已在9月12日(星期三) 復課，練習時間逢星期三、五，由上午9時30分至11時。星期三由Chuck Yu導師教授楊家太極拳四十八式，星期五由Sandy Li師父教授基礎太極拳及養生太極杖，歡迎教內及教外朋友參加學習，費用全免，有興趣參加者請於復課當曰準時出席，如需詳細資料，請向Raymond Woo或Francis Yau 查詢。
5. 聖母軍大聚會將於10月7日星期日,上午11時半至下午1時半在聖若瑟樓舉行,歡迎輔助團員參加。
6. 9月21日聖瑪竇宗徒徒聖史慶日，請參與彌撒，求聖父降福教會。
7. 9月20曰林神父將前往三藩市參加聖伯多祿及聖保祿堂慶祝華人牧民中心成立40週年，9月23曰中文彌撒將由吳建寬神父主持，英文彌撒將由Fr. William Keane主持，林神父將于9月25日返回羅省，其間如有要事，請與Michael Lau聯絡。
8. 9日22日星期六，因為林神父在三藩市，本堂沒有彌撒。。

The Twenty Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time
1. The Los Angeles Chinese Catholic Non-Profit Association respectfully invites all the parishioners to participate in the gala dinner commemorating the seventy third anniversary of the founding of our church. The dinner will especially honor Dr. Won Ng for his service to, and support of, the parish for fifty two years. The theme this year is “United in Harmony”. It reminds us to be united and mutually supportive, because the strength of our faith is in harmony and communion. The dinner will be held on Saturday October 20 at 6 p.m. in Empress Pavilion. Dinner and raffle tickets are being sold. We sincerely request all parishioners to give their utmost support. For details please contact Lucia Tam at 626-221-2888, or other Association members.
2. CCD for the coming semester will commence next Sunday, September 23. Please bring your children to St. Joseph House, and participate in the parent teacher conference.
3. The CCD teachers and assistants of this church will be having a retreat in St. Joseph House today from 9:30 to 3. All teachers and assistants please be punctual.
4. The Tai Chi class has resumed last Wednesday, September 12. Classes are held on Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to 11. On Wednesdays Chuck Yu will teach the forty eight forms of Yang style Tai Chi. On Fridays Sifu Sandy Li will teach basic Tai Chi Ch’uan and Tai Chi Staff for health. All those interested, whether parishioner or not, are welcome, but please be punctual when classes resume. For detailed information, please inquire with Raymond Woo or Francis Yau.
5. The grand meeting of the Legion of Mary will take place on Sunday, October 7 from 11:30 to 1:30 in St. Joseph House. All supporting members are welcome to attend.
6. Friday , September 21 is the Feast of St. Matthew, apostle and evangelist. Please attend Mass and pray for the saint to bless the Church.
7. On Thursday, September 20 Father Lam will be going to San Francisco to take part in the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Chinese Pastoral Center at the Church of Sts. Peter and Paul. The Chinese Mass on Sunday, September 23 will be celebrated by Father Ng (吳建寬神父), and the English Mass by Father William Keane. Father Lam will return to Los Angeles on Tuesday, September 25. For emergencies please contact Michael Lau.
8. The Mass on Saturday, September 22 will be cancelled due to Father Lam’s absence.
