1. 中華會省斐林豐會長及美西會長Fr. Tim Ploch同意派遣吳炳誼神父Fr. Andrew Ng到本堂為副本堂神父。我們熱烈歡迎他。吳神父將於12月7日到本堂上任。12月16日聖誕聯歡日請他切歡迎蛋糕。
2. 本堂收民議會2013-2014年教友代表選舉結果如下：張志健Richard Cheung158票，伍秀豪Joseph Ng154票，李澤邦Eric Li121票，陳萬程Eric Chan113票。以上四位直接當選為堂區議會議員。羅大德David Law111票以2票落選，林神父委任他為堂區議會議員。
3. 今天牧民議會在下午1時30分開會，請各會員準時出席。
4. 12/16為本堂舉行聖誕聯歡日，當日中英文合併彌撒是在上午10時開始，，兒童聖誕表演在彌撒後演出，免費午餐隨後，攤位遊戲將在下午1時開始。請祢帶你的家人及朋友來與我們一起分享聖誕的喜樂精神
5. CACCLC的策劃隊將在不同的中國天主教堂區為2013年的青年營賣聖誕賀卡籌款。12月16日（星期日）會在本堂出售部分的自製聖誕卡。敬請各熱心教友支持。
6. 目前，青年中心在第一和第三個星期日開啟上午10:30至下午12時30分給青少年使用，。我們希望青少年活動中心可延長開放時間，以容納更多的人。總主教區規正當兒童使用的房間需要有足夠的成人監督。在您的幫助下，我們才能這樣做。如果你是一個負責任的成年人，願意和能夠提供一個或兩個小時，在週日保持青年中心的開放給更多的孩子使用，請與Daniel Choy查詢細節。感謝您給青年的支持。

Second Sunday of Advent (Year C)
1. The Salesian Chinese and American West Provincials have agreed to appoint Father Andrew Ng as our assistant pastor. We give him our warmest welcome. He arrived on December 7 to assume his position. In our Christmas party on the 16, he will be asked to cut the welcome cake for him.
2. The results of last week’s election for at-large PPC representatives are as follows: Richard Cheung 158 votes, Joseph Ng 154, Eric Li 121, Eric Chan 113, and David Law 111. The first four were elected as representatives. David Law, who lost by a scant 2 votes, has been appointed by Father Law.
3. The PPC will meet today at 1:30. All members please be punctual.
4. We will have a Christmas party next Sunday, December 16. On that day, we will have a combined Mass at 10 a.m. Children’s performances will commence after Mass, followed by a free luncheon. Game booths will open at 1 p.m. Please bring your families and friends to share in the Christmas spirit.
5. The CACCLC Planning Committee will raise funds for the 2013 Camp by selling Christmas Cards of their own design to different Chinese Catholic Churches. They will be here to sell the cards on Sunday, December 16. Please give them your generous support.
6. The current plan is to open the Youth Center from 10:30 to 12:30 on the first and third Sundays of the month. The reason for the limited hours is the Archdiocese requires proper adult supervision for all youth activities. We can extend the hours with your help. If you are a responsible adult, and can spare one or two hours on Sundays, please contact Daniel Choy for details. The youth thank you for your support.
7. A seminar on Virtus Training will be given in this church on Saturday, December 8 from 10:20 a.m. to 1:20 p.m. Please register with Daniel Choy.
8. Collection envelopes for 2013 have been received. Please claim yours after Mass. Thank you for your cooperation.
9. Wednesday, December 12 is the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Even though it is not a Holy Day of Obligation, please attend Mass to specially venerate our Lady, and ask for her blessings upon us and our families.
10. Thursday, December 13 is the Feast of St. Lucy, Virgin and Martyr. Please attend Mass and ask that she pray for us.
11. Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 15 at 9:30 a.m. All parishioners are welcome to attend and ask for the blessing of our Lady.
12. The Holy Family Society will hold its traditional New Year’s Eve Dinner Dance at Empress Harbor Restaurant in Monterey Park, from 6 p.m. to 12:15 a.m. on New Year’s Eve. There will be a sumptuous dinner, song and dance, games, and prizes. Everyone is welcome. The cost is $55 for members, and $60 for non-members. Seating is limited. Please contact Victoria Huang or other HFS officers as soon as possible.
13. The Los Angeles Archdiocese Religious Education Congress will take place from February 21 to 24 next year. We suggest interested parishioners take advantage of the discount for registering before January 4.
