5/5/2013 復活節第六主日
1. 為感謝所有的母親的愛和關懷及慶祝母親節，本堂將在下主日舉辦母親節午餐。所有母親可享用免費午餐。其他成人費用是$ 10，兒童是$5。餐券將在今天彌撒後出售。為確保我們有足夠的食物，請各位母親在今日領取免費午餐券，也請其他教友盡快可以在今日購買餐券。
2. 今天有為支持教區愛德工作的〝McIntyre Fund〞第二次奉献，
請各教友慷慨支持。
3. 聖家會今年的避靜將於亡兵紀念日的長週末舉辦; 5/25日早上9:00開始至5/26下午4:00. 地點是Encino 的 Holy Spirit Retreat Center. 神師是Toronto 來的程明聰神父。 今次的主題為 “信‧是‧有緣”， 歡迎各會員及教友參加。 留宿的費用是： 會員$110, 非會員$130. 不留宿的費用是： 會員$80, 非會員$90. 因為名額有限，請大家從速和聖家會的職員報名。
4. 慈幼會青年領袖營（SYLC） 將於於6月17-21日在Camp St. Francis舉行。 SYLC是為15至21歲的年輕人提供領袖訓練，促進他們成為堂區青年領袖。每位參與者費用是$265.00。此外，在 6/22（星期六），今年參加者也將出席一位慈幼會執事在Stockton晉鐸。 有興趣者請與Daniel Choy在5/1前聯絡。
5. 2013-2014年的兒童宗教教育班將於今日開始報名。如果在5月尾前報名將有優惠。每一名學生學費是60元，同一個家庭兩名學生是75元，同一個家庭三名學生是85元。
6. 堂區將於6月為今年高中或以上學歷的畢業生慶祝及舉行畢業感恩祭。有興趣參加的畢業生請於5月12日前向 Eric Li, Theresa 或 Daniel Choy查詢及報名。除了畢業彌撒，已受洗的天主教畢業生今年可申請在本新成立的青年獎學金。獎學金是為繼續規劃進讀大學/專業學校或高等學業教育的研究生。有興趣者請Daniel Choy或堂區辦事處查詢。申請截止日期是5月26日。
7. 今天健康舞班將於下午12:30至2:30在聖若瑟樓舉行練習。
8. 禮儀組今天下午1時30分在DB1開會，請各組員準時出席。
9. 5月6日(星期一) 是多明我沙維豪瞻禮，他是青少年主保，請參與彌撒，求聖人降福保佑所有青少年。
10. 5月9日(星期四) 耶穌升天節已改在5月12日(星期日) 舉行。
11. 聖母軍將於5月11日星期六,早上9時半奉獻中華聖母彌撒，歡迎教友參加。

5/5/2013 6th Sunday of Easter
1. To celebrate Mother’s Day, our Church will host a Mother’s Day luncheon to thank all mothers for their love and care. In their honor, we will serve a free lunch to all mothers on Sunday, May 12. The cost for others will be: $10 for adults and $5 for children. We will sell tickets after mass today. To get a headcount and ensure we have enough food for everyone, please make sure to pick up the free lunch tickets for mothers and also purchase all other tickets after mass today. Thank you.
2. There will be a second collection today for Cardinal McIntyre Fund.
3. Holy Family’s annual retreat will be held on Memorial weekend, 5/25, starting 9:00AM to 5/26, ending 4:00PM at Holy Spirit Retreat Center in Encino. Retreat Director will be Fr. Francis Ching from Toronto. Cost for member is $110; non-member is $130. No over night stay – member is $80; non-member is $90. Space limited. Please register with HFS officers ASAP.
4. The 2013 Salesian Youth Leadership Conference (SYLC) will be held at Camp St. Francis, Aptos on June 17-21. SYLC provides leadership formation for the young people between the ages of 15 and 21, to foster youth leaders in the local communities. The program fee is $265.00 per participant. Please see with Daniel Choy by 5/1. In addition, the participants this year will also attend the priestly ordination of Deacon Chuyen Nguyen SDB on Saturday, June 22, in Stockton.
5. Children Religious Education classes will begin registration for the 2013-2014 year starting May 5th. There will be a discount if registration is completed in the month of May. The cost is $60 for 1 student, $75 for 2 students in the same family, and $85 for 3 students in the same family.
6. The parish will honor the upcoming graduates with a Graduation Mass in June. Parishioners graduating from high school and above in this year, please contact Eric Li, Theresa Choy, or Daniel Choy by 5/12 to sign up and for details. In addition to the Graduation Mass, this year’s graduates who are baptized Catholics and planning on higher education at a University or graduate/professional school for advanced degree can apply for a youth scholarship newly set up at our parish. Please see Daniel Choy or the office for an application. The deadline to apply is May 26.
7. There will be line dance today from 12:30pm to 2:30pm in St. Joseph House.
8. The Liturgy Committee will be meeting today 1:30 p.m.at DB 1. All committee members please attend on time.
9. May 6, Monday, is Feast Day of St. Dominic Savio, the Patron Saint of Youth. Please attend mass and pray for the blessing of our youth.
10. May 9, Thursday, Ascension of the Lord, will be celebrated on May 12, Sunday.
11. May 11, Saturday is the Feast Day of Our Lady of China, The Legion of Mary offer a mass at 9:30 AM. You are invited to attend.
