Announcements

1) Next Sunday (June 11) there will be second collection for Archdiocesan Priests Retirement Fund, please be generous.
2) Ever Young Association is going to hold a general member meeting on June 10th, Saturday. Before the meeting, there will be Mass at 9:30 am. All are welcome.
3) On Sunday, 6/11, we will have our annual Graduation Mass celebrating our high school and college graduates at the 11:30 a.m. Mass. All high school and college graduates of Class of 2023 are welcome. Please sign up with Ching Ching by 6/4.
4) St. Bridget is offering scholarship awards to parishioner’s children. Eligible applicants should be enrolled in high school (7th to 12th grade) or be undergraduates in college. Application form can be picked up from the church office, please submit the applications to the parish office before 5/31. The Awards will be given on June 11 Sunday mass.
5) On June 11, Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, St. Peter Italian Catholic Church and our parish will jointly host a Eucharistic Procession. English Mass will start at 11:05am, the Eucharistic Procession will begin at 12:15pm. We will process from our church to St. Peter. After our praying and adoring, the ceremony will be ended by Benediction at around 1:00pm.
6) For Fr. Peter Pong’s birthday dinner on April 2, 2023, the total receipt was $6,105 and the expenditure was $5,649.24. The remainder from this event was $455.76. Mr. Warren Lee issued a check of $500 for the use at Fr. Pong’s discretion. Fr. Pong decided to put the money into the parish to subsidize future spiritual or formation activities. Thank you, Fr. Pong! We are also very grateful for Warren to organize the birthday dinner.
7) On April 6, 2023, the Young Families Group organized celebration activities and luncheon for the parish on the Easter Day. The total receipt was $2,842 and the expenditure was $1,809.10. The remainder from this event was $1,032.90. As previously announced by the Young Families Group, they decided to donate $1,000 to the Chinese Catholic Association of Los Angeles. The Young Families Group provided a detail financial report to the Parish Finance Council for records. We are very grateful for the efforts of the Young Families Group, their love to everyone in the parish, and their generosity.

堂區報告

1) 耆英會在六月十日星期六開會員大會﹐開會前在早上九點半有彌撒, 歡迎大家參與。
2) 下主日(六月十一日), 有第二次捐獻﹐為退休教區神父﹐請慷慨捐獻。
3) 本堂將於6/11 英文主日彌撒中，特別為今年高中及大專畢業生舉行感恩彌撒及降福，歡迎所有今年畢業的朋友參加，報名請於 6/4 前聯絡青青Rachel Law。
4) 羅省華人天主堂現為我們堂區教友的孩子提供獎學金。 符合條件的申請人應在讀中學（7 至 12 年級）或在讀大學本科。 申請表可到堂區辦事處領取及于五月卅一日前交回。獎勵將於六月十一日頒發。
5) 在六月十一日﹐基督聖體聖血節﹐聖伯多祿堂將聯同本華人天主堂舉辦一聖體遊行敬禮。英文彌撒會於十一時零五分舉行﹐彌撒後十二時十五分﹐聖體遊行將在本聖堂開始。我們會由我們處遊行至聖伯多祿堂﹐在祈禱及朝拜後﹐以聖體降福完結﹐整個儀式會在下午一時左右結束。
6) 四月二日龐秉輝神父生曰晚宴，共收 $6,105，支出為 $5,649.24。餘額為 $455.76。Mr. Warren Lee 給了堂區 $500，讓龐神父決定款項用途。龐神父決定把全數贈與堂區，用作補助將來舉行的靈修或培訓活動。感謝龐神父，也特別感謝 Warren 辛勤地為我們統籌是項活動。
7) 四月六日為復活節慶日，主恩小家庭為堂區各教友安排午餐及多項慶祝活動，共收 $2,842，支出為 $1,809.10。餘額為 $1,032.90。正如該會之前已宣報，他們已把 $1,000 捐贈與羅省華人天主教協會。該會亦已把是項活動之詳細財務報告交與堂區財務委員會作存檔。我們非常感謝 主恩小家庭為堂區大眾忘我的辛勞，為我們統籌了這樣開心快樂的活動，也謝謝他們的慷慨。
