Announcements
1) Today (8/13/2023) the new 2023-2024 OCIA class will start. We would like to ask you to invite your family’s member, friends, or neighbor, who do not know about God or those baptized and want to learn about the Catholic faith again, to join the OCIA class. Please contact Fr. Pong, David Law, Connie Lau, or Eric Li.
2) Today (8/13/2023) there will be an orientation of multi-functional hall in MHOCC at 1.30pm by the operation team. All the PPC members and sodalities representatives are invited. The regular PPC meeting will be cancelled.
3) August 15 (Monday) is the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, this is a day of Obligation, we will have Mass at 7:30pm in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary, you are all most welcome.
4) Registration for the 2023-2024 Religious Education Program for children aged 3 and up is NOW open. We offer programs for Baptism, First Communion, and Confirmation to anyone who wants to receive the Sacraments. Our classes meet on Sundays at 9:30-10:45am. The first day of class will begin on 9/17/2023. Feel free to contact our office at 323-222-5518 for more information.
5) Fr. Pong will go to Italy on August 19 to participate in a training course organized by the Salesian Society for about 5 weeks. During this period, Fr. John Lam will temporarily take over his duties.

1)今日 (八月十三日) 新一屆成人慕道課程 (2023-24) 開始。現誠邀你身邊的親朋好友和左鄰右里，不論是未認識天主教信仰或是有興趣再慕道者，來參加成人慕道課程。詳情請向龐神父、David Law、Connie Lau 或 Eric Li 聯絡。
2)今日 (八月十三日)下午一時卅分聖母進教之佑中心《運作小組》舉行《動向介紹》會議﹐邀請堂區議會會員及善會代表參加。今日的堂區議會將會取消。
3)八月十五日(星期二)：聖母蒙召升天日﹐是當守瞻禮日﹐晚上七時卅分本堂有彌撒﹐特別恭敬聖母升天﹐歡迎各位教友參加。
4)2023至2024年度堂區兒童道理班現在接受報名，歡迎三歲以上兒童參加領洗、初領聖體、或堅振班等等各級課程，上課時間在主日上午9:30-10:45，我們將於9月17日開課。 有興趣參加的家庭請聯絡堂區辦事處 (323) 222-5518 查詢詳情。
5)龐神父將於8月19日前往意大利，參與慈幼會所辦的培訓課程，為期約5個星期，這期間將會由林健漢神父暫代其職務。
