Announcements
1.On February 4th, St Bridget will celebrate the Feast Day of St Bridget of Kildare, the patron saint of our Church. In addition, our Boy Scouts will sponsor the Mass as part of Scout Sunday to show that a Scout is Reverent.
2.Thank you for your tremendous support in the last two Sundays, more than 400 tickets have been given out for the Chinese New Year Celebration on Feb 11th. Please bring your tickets and arrive at church before 10:45am to allow ample time for parking. Safety team will direct you to the parking lots in Mary Help of Christians Center or Cathedral High School.
3.Our Lady of China Choir will hold a Lenten communion (Taizé) prayer in St. Bridget on Saturday, February 17th, from 5:30 to 6:30pm. One of the intentions is to pray for the sick. We invite you to join us and make this date with our Lord.
4.The Holy Family Society Lunar New Year meeting for members will be held on Feb 17th, 2024 (Saturday) at 10:30 am. There’s a Mass at 9:30 am before the meeting, please come and join. After the meeting, we’ll have a luncheon gathering. Please sign up with Eva Yuen or Maria Yu for preparing the food. Deadline will be on 2/12/2024.
5.With the support and approval of Father Pong, the Eucharist adoration will be resumed on February 18th, 2024. The adoration prayer will be held on every third Sunday of each month. The prayer will be commenced around fifteen minutes after the English Mass. All are welcome.
6.“Together In Mission”: The goal assigned for St. Bridget Chinese Catholic Church this year is $14,309.00. We need your support in this endeavor. Please put your donation in the collection bag at church or make donation via mail, PayPal, Bill Pay (see instructions in bulletin).
堂區報告
1.二月四日，我們將慶祝我們堂區主保聖畢哲的節日。而我們的童軍將協助彌撒，作為《童軍主日》的一部分，以表示童軍的虔誠。請加入我們。
2.感謝大家過去兩個主日的踴躍支持，我們已經派發了超過400 張二月十一日(大年初二)的農曆新年慶祝活動門票。請攜帶門票並在上午10:45前到達教堂，以便有充足的時間泊車。安全隊將指引你前往聖母進教之佑中心或Cathedral High School 的停車場泊車。
3.中華聖母聖詠團將於二月十七日(星期六)下午5:30-6:30 舉辦四旬期共融(泰澤)祈禱。地點為本聖堂。其中一個意向是為病人祈禱。我們誠意邀請你來參與這個與主相聚的約會。
4.聖家組於二月十七日(星期六)早上十時三十分開農曆新年會員例會，開會前在早上九點半有彌撒，歡迎大家參加。會議完畢，將會有午餐聚會，希望會員踴躍參加，請在二月十二日前向Eva Yuen或Maria Yu報名，以便預備食物。
5.得到龐神父的支持和批准，明供聖體守聖時，將會在二月十八日重新舉行。這祈禱活動將會安排於每個月的第三個星期日在英文彌撒結束約十五分鐘之後舉行。歡迎各位教友參加。
6.『共襄福傳』: 本年度，羅省華人天主堂的指定籌募目標為$14,309.00。希望各位教友鼎力支持。請將捐款投入教堂的奉獻袋， 或用支票， PayPal， Bill Pay等方法 (請參考堂區通訊內的指引) 將捐款寄到本堂。
