Announcements

1)May 3 (1st Friday): Special devotion to Sacred Heart of Jesus; there will be Adoration at 6:30pm and Mass at 7:30pm, you are all welcome.
2)Congratulations to the confirmation students: Kai Saito and Darius Lee who will have Confirmation on May 4, 2024, in St. Peter Italian Church. Let us continue to pray for them.
3)PPC will hold the “formation workshop” on May 4-5, 2024, at MHOCC. Please pray for all the participants to help the parish to formulate our formation plan.
4)The mini-Taste of St. Bridget will be held on May 5 after the Chinese mass and the English mass. The menu includes Japchae (Korean stir-fried glass noodle) $5/serving and Thai Iced Tea $3/cup. Food is limited. Thank you for your support.
5)Legion of Mary will offer a Mass of “Our Lady of China” on May 11 (Saturday) at 9:30am. Everyone is welcome to join.
6)St. Bridget is selling the Chinese Tamale, “Zong Zi” by Master Chef, Kathy Dong. Fillings include salted egg yolk, pork, mung beans, Chinese sausage, dried shrimps etc. $5 per piece. The last day to order is 5/19 while supplies last and the pickup will be on 6/9. All proceeds will go towards the operating costs for the community center. Please contact Agnes Yeung if you have any questions.
7)St. Bridget is offering scholarship awards to parish youths. Eligible applicants should be enrolled in high school (9th to 12th grade) or be undergraduates in college. Application forms can be picked up from the church office. Please submit the application form to the church office before 5/26. The awards will be given on 6/9/24 during Sunday mass.

堂區報告

1)五月三日(首星期五)：特敬耶穌聖心，晚上六時卅分明供聖體；七時卅分有特敬聖心彌撒，歡迎各位教友參加。
2)恭喜堅振班的同學：Kai Saito和Darius Lee將於五月四日於聖伯多祿意大利教堂領受堅振聖事。請繼續為他們祈禱。
3)堂區議會於五月四日及五日在進教之佑中心舉行「培育工作坊」。請為參加者祈禱，讓聖神帶領他們為堂區編寫堂區的培育計劃。
4)迷你“華堂美食節” 將於五月五日中、英文彌撒後舉行。今次菜單有亞州風味的韓式炒麵（每份 $5）和泰式奶茶 （每杯$3）。食物供應有限，售完即止，希望各位教友踴躍支持。
5)聖母軍於5月11日（星期六) 早上9時30分，舉行中華聖母彌撒，歡迎各位教友參加。
6)本堂正舉行售賣粽子籌款活動，由廚神Kathy Dong 親手包作，$5一個。粽內有咸蛋、豬肉、綠豆、臘腸、蝦米。最後訂購日期於 5/19, 售完即止。取貨日期定於6/9。利潤將用於堂區中心日常營運開銷，詳情請洽 Agnes Yeung。
7)羅省華人天主堂現為我們堂區教友的孩子提供獎學金。符合條件的申請人應在讀中學（九至十二年級）或在就讀大學學士學位的學生。申請表可到堂區辦事處領取及于五月廿六日前交回。獎學金將於六月九日主日彌撒中頒發。
