健康舞班將於今天暫停一次。

聖家會將於今天下午12時30分在聖若瑟樓舉行會議，懇請大家準時出席。我們特別邀請了黎修女為今次聚會主講「寬恕」。

上週日的華堂美食節 (Taste of St. Bridget) 因著大家的支持得美滿地完成。恊會 (CCALA) 由衷地感謝你們。感謝你們出錢購票、出錢出力的業餘廚神、事前事後的預備工夫等。今次總收入共計1,098.50元。除去171.74元雜費、實額盈餘為926.76元。這數目將撥入今年的籌款內。

本堂75 週年鑽禧。協會將主辦一個盛大的籌款晚會慶祝這個難能可貴的里程。曾在這個堂區服務多年的劉志剛神父也專程由香港來和我們一同慶祝。希望各位教友除了自己購票外， 還邀請親友及搬遠了的教友來參與這個盛會。日期是10月18日。地點是華埠重新裝修的漢宮大酒樓。未能親臨教堂購票的、可直接致電 (805) -241-5905 與 Maggie Tsui 聯絡。

為配合本堂75週年慶典，籌備小组特別推出一系列有領T恤 (polo shirts) 预售。歡迎教友購買自用或送给親朋好友，以参予及支持堂區的盛大活動。預訂日期由9月21日至10月26日。每件成人20元，兒童17元。预訂請聯络：Amy Ho、 Maggie Lee、Peter Chan、或 Selina Ko。

10月2日（星期四）護守天神紀念日。求天使保佑我們平安。
當天也是重陽節。請參與彌撒，求主已亡先人永遠安息。

10月3日（星期五）首瞻禮六。晚上6時30分明供聖體及聖體降福。7時30分特敬聖心彌撒。歡迎各位教友參加。

10月4日（星期六）聖方濟各亞西西會士紀念。當天上午9時30分在主教座堂舉行「多元文化」彌撒。請各位教友積極參與。

10月5日（星期日），為紀念本堂75 週年鑽禧，當天中文彌撒後將拍懾集體照。希望各位教友除了自己參與外，更邀請搬遠了的教友前來參與這個盛會。懇請各位屆時穿上堂區為是次慶典特別設計的Polo Shirt 一起合照。若仍未訂購的，請盡快聯絡Amy Ho。

There will be NO line dance practice today.

The Holy Family Society will meet today at 12:30 in St. Joseph House. Please be prompt. We have invited Sister Maria to talk about “forgiving.”

Thanks to the help of everyone involved, last Sunday’s “Taste of St. Bridget” was very successful. CCALA sincerely thanks all of you, those who bought tickets, those amateur chefs who donated their labor and material, and those who donated their labor for setup and clean up. The total income is $1098.50. Minus the $171.74 for expenses, the net income is $926.76. That amount has been included in this year’s fund raising income.

St Bridget Chinese Catholic Church is celebrating its diamond jubilee this year. The Association is organizing a great fundraising banquet to celebrate this exceptional milestone. Fr. Francis Lau, who served our church for many years, is making a special trip from Hong Kong to celebrate with us. In addition to purchasing tickets for yourselves, we hope that you can invite families and friends, as well as old parishioners who have moved away, to take part in this grand event. The date is Saturday, October 18, the place is the newly refurbished Empress Pavilion, and dinner tickets can be purchased at Church on Sunday or contact Maggie Tsui at (805) -241-5905.

To celebrate the 75th anniversary of St Bridget Chinese Catholic Church, we have designed polo shirts for our parishioners and friends. Price is $20 for adults and $17 for youth. Thursday, October 2 is the feast of the guardian angels. Pray that they will safely protect us.
October 2 is also the Chinese feast of Double Nine, traditionally a memorial day for the deceased. Please attend Mass and pray for their eternal rest.

Friday, October 3 is the first Friday of the month. There will be Eucharistic Adoration and Benediction at 6:30 p.m., followed by a Mass at 7:30 p.m. especially devoted to the Sacred Heart. All parishioners are welcome to attend.

Saturday, October 4 is the memorial of St. Francis of Assisi. At 9:30a.m., the Cathedral will celebrate a “multi-ethnic” Mass. All parishioners please actively participate.

To commemorate the church’s diamond jubilee, on Sunday, October 5, a group picture will be taken after the Chinese Mass. We request the parishioners, in addition to coming themselves, will invite the old parishioners who have moved away to attend also. Please wear the special polo shirt we have designed for this occasion. You can contact Amy Ho ASAP if you have not bought the polo shirt already.
