1. 3/19 (Mon.) is the Feast of St Joseph, please go to Mass and pray for the Church and Chinese Church.
2. 3/23 (Fri.) there will be Stations of the Cross at 7:30. All are welcome. It is also a day of abstinence.
3. 3/24 (Sat.) Mass at 9:30am. All are welcome.
4. 4/1 Easter Sunday. Our Lord is risen. An eggs hunt game is planned for our children. Invite your friends. For detail, please contact Agnes Yeung.
5. St. Bridget’s Salesian Cooperators would like to thank parishioners’ support for Salesian High School’s “Clothes4Cash” fundraising event. The amount of donated properties was so huge that the Salesian High School had to send two trucks to pick up.
6. In 1939, Columban Father John Cowing, a missionary who had served in China, founded our Mission Church with the encouragement of Cardinal Paul Yu Pin. Father Anthony O’Doherty also came to serve St. Bridget’s and was succeeded by Father Matthew Quinn as the administrator of the Mission to 1980.
This year is the Centennial Year of Columban Missionaries. To celebrate, the Columban are organizing a Dancing For The World Celebration. This is a Mass, reception, dinner and dance celebration, the Mass start at 5:00PM, June 16, 2018 at Glendale Civic Auditorium. We would like to show our appreciation to the St. Columban Missionaries Society for established and served our Church for over 40 years. The ticket donation is $40 for each person. Please write the check to “Columban Mission”. Please give the check to Richard Cheung, Ching Ching or Joseph Ng by April 29, 2018. We also placed an advertisement on the front inner page of the program book. Please view the flyer and advertisement at the back of the Church.
7. Save the Date! 3rd Annual walkathon will take place on Sunday, 4/8, at Cathedral High School. Starting on Sunday, 3/11, after each mass, we will have sponsor forms available for pick up. We will also be selling walkathon t-shirts for $20 each (S, M, L, XL). Thank you in advance for your support!
8. Together In Mission: the goal for St. Bridget Chinese Catholic Church this year is $11,786. We will achieve this goal by second collections. As of 3/11/2018, our cumulative collection was $5,915. Thank you for your generosity.
9. Starting 2/3 to 4/14, VITA program at St. Bridget Chinese Catholic Church will provide free income tax service on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm to families with annual total income $54,000 or lower. Those who are interested may call (323)222-5518 for appointment. Volunteer may contact Raymond Wong for detail.
10. North America Chinese Catholic Apostolate Convention 2018 will be held in Mary Help of Christians Parish Edmonton, Canada from May 18 to 21. You are all welcome. Please register with Fr. John Lam if you are interested. Please see the poster for details.

5. 本堂慈幼拹進會非常感激大家熱烈支持慈幼中學舉辦的故衣募捐運動.我們收集到的捐贈物品數量之大要由慈幼中學的學生用兩部貨車搬走.謝謝!
6. 在1939年，高隆龐傳教會的教靈神父在中國傳教後，在于斌樞機主教鼓勵下建立我們的傳教堂。奧多爾神父在1954年和關瑪竇神父在1962年領導我們至1980。
今年是高隆龐傳教會的百年記念年。高隆龐傳教會為慶祝百年記念年組織一個彌撒，接待，晚餐和舞會的慶祝會。彌撒在2018年6月16日下午5時在 Glendale Civic Auditorium 舉行。我們想透參加這個慶祝會來表達我們對高隆龐傳教會建立本堂及40多年的服務的感激之情。慶祝卷為每人$40。請寫支票給”Columban Mission”,在4月29日之前交給Richard Cheung, Ching Ching 或 Joseph Ng。本堂買了一頁廣告在慶祝會冊首頁的後頁。請到本堂入口前門參看這慶祝會的傳單和本堂的廣告。
7. 今年Walkathon 在四月八日會在Cathedral High School 舉行。從三月十一日起在中文和英文彌撒後會有參加表格領取。參加者只需付二十元即可領取丅shirt 一件。
8. 『共襄福傳』: 本年度，羅省華人天主堂的籌募目標為$11,786。我們將於每主日收集第二次奉獻直至達標為止。截至 3/11/2018,我們籌得的款項累計為 $5,915。謝謝各位的慷慨。
