Announcements
1. 7/16 (Mon.) Our Lady of Mount Carmel. There will be Mass here at 12:30pm. All are welcome and ask Our Lady to bless our family.
2. We sincerely thank Fr. Augustine Tsang for facilitating retreat yesterday and celebrating Mass today.
3. 7/21 (Sat.) there will be 9:30am memorial Mass for Mrs. Theresa Tse Wu. All are welcome to pray for the repose of her soul.
4. Thank you for pre-registering for the church picnic. We are very near the reservation capacity and today is the last day to register. (7/28/18 at El Monte Whittier Narrows Recreation Park, #D9) While we enjoy the party, let’s not forget our social responsibility to preserve our planet. We will provide one bottled water for each person; and we will set up a water station for refills. Should you have additional needs, please prepare for yourselves.
5. The Mary Help of Christians Center design is going well, we would like to update you and answer your questions in more detail than a short presentation at the end of the Mass allow. You are invited to a 2 hours town hall meeting to go over the design and answer your questions, on 2:00PM, Aug. 5, 2018 at the living room of St. Joseph house. We are inviting the architect to join us for this town hall meeting. Please note this meeting has been rescheduled to AUGUST 5, 2018 due to Fr. Lam is in the Salesians annual retreat from the afternoon of July 29 to August 5.
6. All young adults ages 18 and older are invited to the California Chinese Catholic Living Camp (CACCLC) this Labor Day Weekend, August 31 – September 1 in Three Rivers, CA. Fr. James L. Heft from USC will talk about the theme of “Taking Ownership of Faith: Head, Heart, and Hands.” Early-bird registration from June 30th – July 31st is $150 for students/non-working and $190 for working individuals. 7. St Bridget Camping will be held at San Mateo Campground (San Clemente) from 9/7/18 Friday night to 9/9/18 Sunday morning. Please register with Richard Cheung or Ching Ching. Cost is $30 per person plus $15 parking fee. Limited to 80 campers.
8. Line Dance practice today from 12:30 to 2:30pm in Room DB#1.

4. 多謝各位教友熱烈嚮應堂區舉辦的夏日野餐.已報名的人數已接近預約的限額,今天是最後報名的機會.在我們開懷玩樂之際,也讓我們陪養愛護地球的好習慣.是次野餐我們會提供每人一瓶樽裝水,飲完後可到我們預備的“補水站”加水.若你有個別需求,敬請自備.
5. 很高興通知大家,聖母進教之佑中心的設計進展順利,我們想詳細和你分享聖母進教之佑中心的建築設計和回答你的問題.我們邀請你參加這個2小時的聖母進教之佑中心的建築設計會議,在2018年8月5日下午2時在聖約瑟屋大廳舉行. 我們已經邀請建築設計師來參加這次會議.請注意，這會議是從2018年7月29日改期到2018年8月5日.因為林神父在7月29日下午至8月3日要參加慈幼會週年避靜.
6. 一年一度的加州天主教華人生活營 (CACCLC)將於6/30開始報名。生活營將會在8/31至9/3的勞工節長週末在Three Rivers, CA 舉行。今年的主題是「以思想,心靈和雙手實践信仰」。主講神師是Fr. James L. Heft。歡迎所有18歲以上的青年朋友與我們一起共度愉快開心的週末，加深我們的信仰生活，與主相遇。如在7/31前報名有早鳥優惠: 學生／非就業人士收費為$150,就業人士收費 為$190。有興趣參加CACCLC的本堂教友青年，請直接與 Anthony / Cecilia Vong 聯絡或電郵cacclc2018@cacclc.org.
