5. Congratulating to Michael Lam, Caitlin Sun, Alvin Tsui and Joseph Louie on being chosen to receive the Archbishop’s Young Adult in Ministry Award 2018 from Jose Gomez, Archbishop of Los Angeles yesterday. We thanks for the time you have given in serving our church and communities.
6. We are saddened that a dear parishioner, a member of the Ever-Young sodality, Mrs. Catherine Sukling Lai ( 陳淑玲) was called home to the Heavenly Father on Sunday, 11/11/2018. Please pray for the repose of her soul. Funeral and burial services are as follow: Visitation: Sunday, November 18, 2018 – 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm; Prayer service at 2:00 PM, officiated by Father John Lam; Rose Hills Mortuary – 3888 Workman Mill Rd, Whittier, California 90601 | (562) 699-0921; Funeral Service: Monday, November 19, 2018 at 1:00 pm; Rose Hills Memorial Park – Skyline Chapel.
7. Thanksgiving potluck dinner will be held today at 5:30PM. Please invite your family and friends to this fun evening and good food. If you are interested to perform, please contact Michael Lam from Shepherd Group or Richard Cheung.
8. The annual meeting of the Hospitality Ministry will be held on December 2nd, from 1:30 pm to 3 pm. Father Lam will provide training and guidance to help us better serve our parishioners. We are also now accepting nomination for the next president and election will be held in anonymous fashion during the meeting. Please make yourself available. If you have any questions, please contact Felix Wong.
9. We are grateful that Dr. Anthony Chan has accepted our invitation to visit our parish and share with us his knowledge and experience on Eucharistic Adoration on 12/1, Saturday after 9:30am Mass to 3:30pm. Please join us for this wonderful event.
10. It is time for nomination of parish elected Parish Pastoral Council members for the next two year term 2019-2020. Please pick up a nomination form from gift shop table. Voting of nominated candidates will be held on December 2 at the end of each mass.
11. The Holy Family Society will hold its traditional New Year’s Eve celebration. This year it will be held at Empress Harbor Restaurant in Monterey Park, Date: 12/31/2018 Monday from 6 p.m. to 12:15 a.m. New Year’s Day. There will be a sumptuous dinner, song and dance, games, and prizes. Everyone is welcome. The cost is $55 for members, and $60 for non-members. Please sign up with Maria Yu and Eva Yuen as soon as possible.
12. We all know about the Woolsey and Hill Fires in South California, it affects some parishes and parishioners, so the Archdiocese approves to have the 2nd collection for the fire victims. Thank you for your generosity.
13. There will be no Dance Class this Sunday (11/18) and will resume class on 12/02.

12. 大家都知道最近南加州森林大火燒掉了不少房舍, 同時也波及一些聖堂, 教區建議聖堂今日有第二次捐獻, 為受火災影響的教友, 請慷慨捐助.
