Announcements
1. Today is Mother’s day, congratulations to all mothers, please pray for all mothers. May God bless them all.
2. On 5/19 there will be combined Mass for Mary Help of Christians celebrated by Fr. Ted Montemayor. 12 St Bridget and 2 Bellflower Salesians Cooperators candidates will make their promise in the induction.
3. Congratulations to our religious education students: Matthew Ko, Sean Lee, Matthias Lee, Brianna Louie, Anson Soo-Hoo & Gordon Wu for receiving their Confirmation yesterday at St. Peter Italian Church. May the Holy Spirit guide them to holiness and to be fruitful witnesses for Christ.
4. Next Sunday, 5/19, Religious Education will have its year end celebration at 9:30am at St. Joseph House. After English Mass, we will have BBQ and fun games and activities for our children. Please bring the kids and invite their friends to come. Registration for 2019-2020 religious education program is now open. Please contact Ching Ching for registration.
5. May 13 (Monday) is the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima, please attend Mass and pray to Our Lady of Fatima to grant peace to the world.
6. May 14 (Tuesday) is the Feast of St. Mathias, the Apostle, please attend Mass and ask God to bless the church.
7. May 18 (Saturday) there will be Mas at 9:30 am, you are all welcome. After Mass, all Salesian Cooperators must attend the retreat prepared by Sr. Maria Ko, and prepare themselves for Induction.
8. Sr. Ko will also give a public talk on 5/19 (Sun.) 1pm-5pm titled “The Word and life, living the joy of the gospel”. Invite your friends and Chinese Catholic! It is free but donation welcome. See flyer at the entrance for details.
9. Firemark Chinese High School Summer Camp Retreat will be held on 7/6 9am to 7/7 4pm at Mater Dolorosa Retreat house at Sierra Madre. The theme is Why-fi. Camp fee is $118 (first 20 registration only pay $50, sponsored by CSCNA). Contact Anthony Vong, Ching Ching, or Firemark contact Anne 626-872-4523.
10. Virtus training will be offered on 5/19 1-4pm at DB1. It is for first time takers and those with expired certificate. Contact Denise Woo.
11. St. Bridget is offering scholarships to parishioner’s children, who attend the church regularly and help serve our church community. Eligible applicants should be enrolled in high school (9th to 12th grade) or be an undergraduate in college. Applications can be picked up from Fr. Lam’s office, from Ken Dong or Vincent Yip .
12. St. Bridget’s 80th Anniversary Dinner ticket sales continues today.
13. There will be no Dance Class this Sunday (05/12).

堂區報告
1. 今日是母親節,恭祝所有母親幸福快樂,並請為所有母親祈禱。
2. 5/19 中英聯合彌撒慶祝進教之佑瞻禮,由Fr. Ted Montemayor主持.彌撒中有12位慈幼協進會準會員和2位來自Bellflower的準會員許願入會.
3. 恭賀我們堅振班學生Matthew Ko，Sean Lee，Matthias Lee,Brianna Louie, Anson Soo-Hoo 和 Gordon Wu 於昨晚在聖伯多祿(St. Peter)意大利教堂領受堅振聖事。願聖神帶領他們一生跟隨基督,度聖善的生活,為福音作見證。
4. 下週主日5月19日，兒童道理班將於上午9:30在聖約瑟樓舉行學年終慶祝，並在英文彌撒後，為小朋友及家長提供燒烤午餐和遊戲活動。請道理班家庭及朋友一同前來參加。 2019-2020 兒童道理班現已接受報名。有興趣請與Ching Ching聯絡。
5. 5 月 13 日(星期一) 是花地瑪聖母節日，請參與彌撒，求花地瑪聖母賜給世界和平。
6. 5 月 14 日(星期二) 是聖瑪弟亞宗徒瞻禮，請參與彌撒，求宗徒降福教會。
7. 5 月 18 日(星期六) 上午9時 30 分在本堂有彌撒聖祭，歡迎各位教友參加，彌撇後，慈幼協進會準會員必須參加高夏芳修女主持的退省，準備許願，加入慈幼協進會。
8. 5/19 1-5pm，高修女公開講座。主題是「聖言與生活～活出福音的喜樂」。機會難逢，敬請邀請你們的親友及歡迎所有華人天主教團體參加。費用全免，歡迎捐獻。詳情請查看教堂入口的海報。
