Announcements

1. There will be second collection today for the Evangelization in Asia. Tricia Bolle of St. Francis Lay Missionary Society will share her missionary experience in Asia. Please be generous.
2. July 3 (Wednesday) is the feast of St. Thomas, let us attend Mass and ask St. Thomas to increase our faith.
3. July 4 (Thursday) is public holiday, the church office will be closed, in case of Emergency, please contact Fr. John Lam directly 323-382-5922.
4. Fr. John Lam will go to San Francisco to attend the Mass at S.F. Cathedral on July at 10:00am in honor Bishop Ignatius Wang’s 60th anniversary of Priestly ordination so the adoration and Mass in honor of Sacred Heart on July 5 (Friday) will be cancelled. Moreover the Mass on July 6, Saturday will also be cancelled.
5. All young adults ages 18 and older are invited to the California Chinese Catholic Living Camp (CACCLC) this Labor Day Weekend, August 30 – September 2 in Three Rivers, CA. Fr. Timothy Lyons from the Legionaries of Christ will talk about the theme of “Living Hope.” Early-bird registration from June 16th – July 20th is $160 for students/non-working and $210 for working individuals. 6. Fr. Peter Tsang celebrate his 60 years of priesthood. The thanksgiving Mass will be on 7/7/19 at 3:30PM, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church (1835 Larkvane Rd, Rowland Heights,). Optionally, after Mass, celebration dinner is at Seafood Village (1463 S Nogales St. Rowland Heights, CA 91748). The cost of dinner is $40 per person. If you plan to attend dinner, today is the last day to register, please contact Maggie Tsui.
7. The Parish will be holding its annual picnic on 7/13/19 at the El Monte Whittier Narrows Recreation Park, Picnic Area D #9, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Lunch will start at noon. We have reserved a gated private area and as such capacity is limited; therefore, please register early. Fee: Adult: $10; Senior: $7; children 4 to 12: $5; children under 4 is free. Please register with Holy Family Society members.
8. St. Bridget will be hosting the Fingerprinting event on Saturday, July 27, 2019. According to LA Archdiocese, all adult volunteers who interact with children or youth are required to be fingerprinted. Please sign up with Denise Woo, or call the office at 323-222-5518. Space is limited as it is opened to the public, and it is first come first serve. Please sign up ASAP.
9. HFS Hollywood Bowl – PINK MARTINI BAND concerts on August 24, 2019. Tickets on sale now. Price is $35/members and $40/ non-members. There is a potluck party before the concert. Please sign up (plus payment) with Holy Family Society members after Chinese/English Mass.
10. The new RCIA class has started. Please invite your family and friends, who do not know about God or those baptized and want to learn about the Catholic faith again, to join the RCIA class. For more information please contact Fr. Lam, Sister Maria Lai, Ken Man, Savio Chan, Connie Lau David Law, or Eric Li.
11. We are now accepting registration of the 2019-2020 Religious Education Program for children age 3 and up. Classes include Good Shepherd Program, Kindergarten, First Communion, elementary school, middle school, and Confirmation Program. Please contact Ching Ching or Cindy Ng, or call (323) 222-5518.

4. 林神父將於7月5日往三藩市參加汪中漳主教晉鐸60週年彌撒, 7月6日上午10時在三藩市主教座堂舉行，故此7月5晚上6:30分的朝拜聖體及7時30分的聖心彌撒取消，並且7月6日早上9時30時分彌撒亦取消。
5. 一年一度的加州天主教華人生活營 (CACCLC)將於6/16開始報名。生活營將會在8/30至9/2的勞工節長週末在Three Rivers, CA 舉行。今年的主題是「活出望德」。主講神師是Fr. Timothy Lyons。歡迎18歲以上的青年朋友與我們一起共度愉快開心的週末，加深我們的信仰生活，與主相遇。如在7/20前報名有早鳥優惠: 學生／非就業人士收費為$160,就業人士收費為$210。有興趣參加的教友青年，請直接與Cecilia Vong/Henry Cheung聯絡或到cacclc.org查詢.
