Announcements

1. The Annual Church group photo will be taken on August 18,
2019 Sunday at around 10:45am between the Chinese mass and
the English mass. Please save the date. The photo will be in the
80th anniversary dinner program book.
2. The fundraising food sale held by Holy Family on 6/23 netted
$477.61. The amount has been turned in to CCALA. We want
to thank you for your support. Those helped in preparing the
food had a lot of fun and those purchased the food had a
delicious meal. Hope other sodalities and individuals can
sponsor similar events.
3. July 9 (Tuesday) is the Feast Day of St. Augustine Zhao Rong,
priest and companions martyrs. We have transfer it to next
Sunday July 14 to celebrate.
4. July 11 (Thursday) is the Feast St. Benedict, abbot, he is the
father of Western Monasticism. Please attend Mass and ask him
to bless all the monks.
5. July 13 (Sat.) there will be Mass at 9:30 am, you are welcome.
6. All young adults ages 18 and older are invited to the California
Chinese Catholic Living Camp (CACCLC) this Labor Day
Weekend, August 30 – September 2 in Three Rivers, CA. Fr.
Timothy Lyons from the Legionaries of Christ will talk about
the theme of “Living Hope.” Early-bird registration from June
16th – July 20th is $160 for students/non-working and $210 for
working individuals. Please contact Cecilia Vong/Henry

7. Thank you for pre-registering for the church picnic. Today is
the last day to register. Please sign up with HFS members.

While we enjoy the party, let’s not forget our social
responsibility to preserve our planet. We will provide one
bottled water for each person; and we will set up a water station
for refills. Should you have additional needs, please prepare for
yourselves.
8. St. Bridget will be hosting the Fingerprinting event on Saturday,
July 27, 2019. According to LA Archdiocese, all adult
volunteers who interact with children or youth are required to be
fingerprinted. Please sign up with Denise Woo, or call the office
at 323-222-5518. Space is limited as it is opened to the public,
and it is first come first serve. Please sign up ASAP.
9. HFS Hollywood Bowl – PINK MARTINI BAND concerts on
August 24, 2019. Tickets on sale now. Price is $35/members
and $40/ non-members. There is a potluck party before the
concert. Please sign up (plus payment) with Holy Family
Society members after Chinese/English Mass.
10. The new RCIA class has started. Please invite your family and
friends, who do not know about God or those baptized and want
to learn about the Catholic faith again, to join the RCIA class.

Ken Man, Savio Chan, Connie Lau David Law, or Eric Li.
11. We are now accepting registration of the 2019-2020 Religious
Education Program for children age 3 and up. Classes include
Good Shepherd Program, Kindergarten, First Communion,
elementary school, middle school, and Confirmation Program.

12. 80th Anniversary Celebration Dinner program book is now
accepting ads. Please encourage your friends and businesses to

13. Capital campaign for the Mary help of Christians center is now
underway. Anyone interested to donate please contact Selina

6. 一年一度的加州天主教華人生活營 (CACCLC)已開始報
名。生活營將會在 8/30 至 9/2 的勞工節長週末在 Three
Rivers, CA 舉行。今年的主題是「活出望德」。主講
神師是 Fr. Timothy Lyons。歡迎所有 18 歲以上的青年
朋友與我們一起共度愉快開心的週末,加深我們的信仰
生活,與主相遇。如在 7/20 前報名有早鳥優惠: 學生
/非就業人士收費為$160,就業人士收費為$210。有興
