Announcements

1. Today during Chinese Mass, two catechumen will receive the Rite of Election: Joseph Sun and David Troung, Please pray for them, so that they may prepare themselves well for Baptism in the Easter Vigil Mass.
2. March 6, Friday, First Friday in honor of Sacred Heart , there will be Mass at 7:00 pm, after Mass there will be “Way of the Cross” in Chinese, you are welcome. Today, abstinence is to be observed.
3. Lent is approaching, in order to help parishioners to prepare themselves well for the Easter, we have invited Fr. Francis Ching, priest of the “Companions of the Cross” to conduct a Lenten Retreat in Chinese on Saturday, March 7 and in English on Sunday , March 8. You are welcome to join.
4. Starting 2/8 to 4/11 (every Saturday) from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, VITA program at St. Bridget Chinese Catholic Church will provide free income tax service to families with low annual income. Those who are interested in being a volunteer may contact Raymond Wong for details.
5. Our combined annual Fundraising Dinner and Fr. Lam’s 80th Birthday Celebration Dinner will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2020, at 6pm at San Gabriel Hilton. Please help us spread the word. For sodalities and groups reservations, please contact Selina Ko or Ching Ching.
6. Together In Mission: the goal assigned for St. Bridget Chinese Catholic Church this year is $11,982. We will achieve this goal by second collections. As of 2/23/20, we collected $4,072 . Thank you for your generosity.

堂區報告

1) 今日中文彌撒中有兩位侯洗者接受甄選禮：他們是: 孫本仁及David Troung. 請各位教友為他們祈禱，使他們好好準備在復活前夕接受洗禮。
2) 三月六日(星期五)首瞻禮六，特敬耶穌聖心，晚上七時有特敬聖心彌撒，之後七時三十分有中文 “苦路善功”, 歡迎各教友參加。是日當守小齋。
3) 四旬期將至，堂區為幫助教友在靈修上作準備，邀請了程明聰神父Fr. Francis Ching (十字架同行者修會COMPANIONS OF THE CROSS)主持中文(3/7) 、英文(3/8)退省。歡迎各教友參加。
4) VITA 為低收入人仕免費報稅服務將於2月8日(星期六)開始至4月11日(每週星期六), 早上九時至下午一時, 如有興趣參與報稅服務, 請與Raymond Wong 聯絡。
5) 今年堂區週年籌款晚會暨林神父八十大壽慶祝，將於8月1日星期六下午六時假聖蓋博希爾頓酒店舉行，請大家告知大家。善會及團體可優先預訂餐券，請聯絡Selina Ko 或 青青 。
