Announcements

1) November 11 (Wednesday): Veterans Day, thank them for their service to our country and pray for them. It is Public Holiday; the office will be closed. In case of emergency, please call Fr. John Lam at 323-382-5922.
2) November is the Month of the Holy Souls. Please fill the prayer intention form and drop in the collection box. Fr. Lam will pray for the repose of their souls in all the Masses in November. You can also use google form for online submission options. https://forms.gle/5KXruWY2fCFbXJXP8
3) Even though the pandemic has prevented many of us from gathering physically to worship as a community, it will not stop us from caring and praying for one another. Our parish will begin to host online prayer meetings on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month. We encourage our sodalities to participate by hosting the meeting or submitting prayer intentions on behalf of your members. Please contact Connie Lau, Eric Li, Peter Chan, Savio Chan, David Law, or Ching Ching for more information. Next prayer meeting will be on 11/20/2020 Friday at 8pm Divine Mercy prayer for the souls, co-host by the Bereavement Ministry, Salesian Cooperators and the Our Lady Queen of China Choir.
4) November is Month of the Holy Souls, devoted to praying for the deceased. Legion of Mary and Bereavement Ministry will offer a Memorial Mass on Saturday, November 7th, to commemorate the deceased family members and friends: rosary at 9:00 am, outdoor Mass at 9:30 am. There will be a table for the display of the deceased members. Please keep the picture to be 5″x7″ or smaller Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, you may join the Mass at Saint Bridget (with mask and social distance) or attend through the Zoom streaming option. Please see the Zoom link on page 4. All are welcome. Please contact Teresa Lau (Legion of Mary) or Betty Ng (Bereavement Ministry) for more information.
5) According to the instructions given by the Archdiocese, Mass can only be celebrated outdoors. All mass attendees must always wear face masks and maintain 6’ social distance. Parishioners who would like to attend Mass in-person, please continue to register.

Since the Sunday Mass has been suspended, we would appreciate anything that you can continue to do for your parish. You may make your donation using the following methods:

Remember to check the “share your mailing address with St. Bridget Chinese Catholic Church” box if you desire to receive donation receipt at year end.
Via Bill Pay: Most banks have the “Bill Pay” feature. You may use this feature to make donation to the Parish. Add “St. Bridget Chinese Catholic Church” as a new payee. 3) 因為疫情，一些禮儀取消了，以致我們未能一同在教堂共聚參與，但疫情阻不了我們互相關心；彼此祈禱。每月的第一個星期五晚(首瞻禮六)和第三個星期五晚，我們會在網上見面，一同通功祈禱。若你們所屬的善會或小組願意主持一次祈禱聚會，或有祈禱意向，請與我們小組聯络：Connie Lau、Eric Li、Peter Chan、Savio Chan、David Law 或 Ching Ching。下次祈禱聚會在11/20/2020星期五晚上八時。由善寧組、協進會及中華聖母聖詠團帶領慈悲串經為所有靈魂祈禱。
4) 聖母軍及善寧組定於十一月(煉靈月)七日(星期六)早上9:00 誦念玫瑰經,9:30奉獻煉靈彌撒.歡迎各位教友參加為已亡親友祈禱。當日將預備好一枱放置閣下去世家人照片。 照片請在五吋×七吋或以下。本年因疫情的關係, 教友可以到本天主堂參與室外彌撒, (保持社交距離及戴口罩).或可以在網上參與ZOOM直播彌撒。Link在第4頁。 請與聖母軍Teresa Lau,或善寧組 Betty Ng 聯絡。
