Announcements

1) Today we have 2nd collection for Haiti. Last weekend the people of Haiti experienced a catastrophic earthquake, causing immense damage and substantial loss of life. The earthquake was followed by a major tropical storm, which added even further devastation. The people of Haiti were still rebuilding after a major earthquake from 11 years ago and have also been dealing with other major challenges. The bishops of the United States are asking for your financial support, so that we can respond as a unified Church. Thank you for your generosity.
2) September 3 (Friday): is first Friday, Adoration will take place at 6:30pm, and there will be Mass at 7:30pm in honor of Sacred Heart of Jesus, you are all welcome.
3) September 4 (Saturday): is first Saturday, there will be Mass in honor of the Immaculate Heart of Mary at our church at 9:30am, you are all welcome.
4) September 11 (Saturday) at 6:00 pm, will be Mass in memory of Joseph Tsui and Moon Tong Lam. You are all welcome to pray for them.
5) Young Families Group will host a Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration Fair on September 19, 2021 (Sunday) from 11am to 3:30 pm. There will be food sales, games, and photo booths. Presale tickets will be available a week before (September 12) for all the parishioners. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Mary Help of Christian Center Funds. All are welcome to join!
6) The 2021-2022 Religious Education school year will begin on 9/19/2021. We are excited to be hosting the classes in-person at Cathedral High School at 9:30am on Sundays. Children aged 3 and up are encouraged to sign up. Tuition is $60/year for 1 child, $75 for 2 children from the same family, $85 for 3. We look forward to sharing our faith with your children. 7) Now the Archdiocese has announced to resume Mass in the church. Fr. Lam will resume our regular First Friday Eucharistic Adoration at 6:30pm and Sacred Heart of Jesus Devotional Mass at 7:30pm. On the 3rd Friday of every month, Fr. Peter Pong will be leading Lectio Divina for us at 8:00pm. All are welcome to join! Next meeting on 9/17/2021.

堂區報告

1) 今天我們有為海地第二次捐獻。上週末，海地人民經歷了一場災難性的地震，造成了巨大的破壞和大量的生命損失。 地震之後發生了一場大型熱帶風暴，這進一步加劇了破壞。 海地人民在經歷了 11 年前的大地震後仍在重建中，也一直在應對其他重大挑戰。 美國的主教們正在尋求你們的財政支持，以便我們能夠作為一個統一的教會做出回應。 感謝您們的慷慨。
2) 九月三日(星期五): 是首星期五﹐晚上六時卅分明供聖體﹐七時卅分有特敬聖心彌撒﹐歡迎各位教友參加。
3) 九月四日(星期六): 是首星期六﹐上午九時卅分在本堂有彌撒﹐特敬聖母無玷聖心﹐歡迎各位教友參加。
4) 九月十一日（星期六) 晚上六時舉行追思彌撒, 紀念教友徐若瑟及徐林滿堂﹐歡迎各位教友參加﹐為他們靈魂安息祈禱。
5) 主恩小家庭將於九月十九日上午十一時至下午三時三十分舉辦”主恩滿心慶中秋”。屆時將有午餐售賣、遊戲和照相攤位。在一周前(九月十二日) 會向所有教友預售午餐券。部分活動收益將捐贈給進教之佑社區中心建設工程與善會服務 。歡迎大家踴躍參加！
6) 2021-2022年度兒童道理班將於9月19日開課。今年將會重新開始親身在教堂側高中上課，學費如下：一個小孩 $60；同一家庭兩個小孩：$75 ；三個小孩：$85，歡迎三歲以上青少年參加。報名詳情請短訊323-250-3338或電郵青青wanching_law@yahoo.com查詢。
7) 現在教區宣佈恢復正常在教堂內彌撒。林神父將會重開每月第一個星期五晚上六時卅分朝拜聖體, 晚上七時卅分首瞻禮六聖心彌撒。每月第三個星期五晚上八時將由龐神父為教友帶領網上誦讀聖言，請大家踴躍參加。下次聚會時間9/17/2021.
