堂區消息

『共襄福傳』籌募行動為我們教區內37個堂區及56間學校提供了急需的財政援助。這些堂區為數以萬計的兄弟姊妹提供教育及宗教服務，使天主教會堅定不移地陪伴着弱勢社群。我們堂區本年度的籌募目標為$10,758.88。我們將於每主日收集第二次奉獻直至達標為止。『共襄福傳』籌募行動的主題是「愛永存不朽」【格前 13：8】；這個愛心行動將使得到支援的弟兄姊妹們感受到我們的關愛。謝謝各位的慷慨。

本堂由即日起至4月12日逢星期六為教友及鄰近社區人仕免費申報2013年的入息稅。凡家庭總收入不超過52,000美元，便可接受此項服務。請致電 323-222-5518查詢及預約。

健康舞班將於今天下午12時30分至2時30分在聖若瑟樓練習。

「新火相傳」小組將在今天上午11時在二樓青年會客室舉行「如何改善祈禱質素」研討會。歡迎各位教友參與。

3月5日（星期三）聖灰禮儀、四旬期開始。當天守大、小齋。晚上7時30分本堂有彌撒、並施放聖灰。

3月6日（星期四）開始，林神父將前往溫哥華及西雅圖為當地教友主持退省。3月20日（星期四）返回羅省。其間一切堂區事務，請直接與吳炳誼神父（808-398-0759）聯絡。

3月7日（星期五）首瞻禮六。
晚上7時正在本堂舉行特敬耶穌聖心彌撒。
晚上7時30分舉行（中文）拜苦路。

8.
3月8日（星期六）四旬期退省。由上午9時至下午4時在本堂舉行。退省神師是從温哥華前來的朱達璋神父。每位12元正（包括午餐）。今天是最後報名日。詳情請與 David Law 或 Victoria Huang聯絡。

Church Announcement

1.
“Together In Mission” provides substantial financial support to 37 parishes and 56 schools in our Archdiocese.  These parishes and schools provide education, ministry and a Catholic presence for tens of thousands of our sisters and brothers.  The goal for our parish this year is $10,758.88.  We will carry out second collections every Sunday until we achieve this goal.  The theme of the campaign is “Love never fails.” (1Cor 13:8)  “Together in Mission” provides an opportunity to show our concern for those served by the parishes and schools that need your financial support.  Thank you for your generosity.

Our parish offers free tax help to people who make $52,000 or less. Assistance in preparing their 2013 tax returns will be available every Saturday from now till April 12.   Please call 323-222-5518 to make reservation.

There will be line dance practice today from 12:30p.m. to 2:30p.m. at St. Joseph House.

The group “Passing the Flame” will hold a study group today at 11:00a.m. in the Youth Center on “how to improve the quality of prayers”.  All parishioners are welcome to participate.

Wednesday, March 5, is Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent.  Fast and abstinence should be observed.  There will be Mass at 7:30 p.m. with blessing and distribution of the ashes.

Beginning on Thursday, March 6, Father Lam will be in Vancouver and Seattle to conduct Lenten retreat.    He will return on Thursday, March 20.   During his absence, please contact Father Andrew Ng (808-398-0759) directly for parish affairs.

Friday, March 7 is first Friday of the month.  A special Mass devoted to the Sacred Heart of Jesus will be celebrated at 7 p.m.  Stations of the Cross (in Chinese) will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Lenten retreat will take place on Saturday, March 8 in this church from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Father Chu from Vancouver will conduct the retreat.  The cost, including lunch, will be $12.  Today is the last day to register.  For details, please contact David Law or Victoria Huang.
