Church Announcements 5/10-19/2015
1. There will be a Virtus Training on 5/31 1-4pm. This is mandatory for those working with minors at church. Welcome first timers or those with expired status for renewal. Contact Denise Woo.
2. Holy Family Society is sponsoring a bus trip to Santa Barbara Mission and Museum of Art in Santa Barbara on Saturday, June 27.The cost is $35 per person. There are only 55 spaces. The cost includes everything except lunch. Registration starts today after the two Masses.
3. The Provincial of USA West, Fr. Ted Montemayor will come to visit our church on Saturday (5/16) from 9:00am to noon and on Sunday (5/17) he will say the English Mass and attend the PPC meeting.
4. The new Chinese Adult RCIA class will start on 6/14. Please invite your family and friends to learn about the Catholic faith. Please register with Ken Man, Eric Li or Savio Chan.
5. Today we will have a 2nd collection for Together In Mission. Cumulative collection on Together in Mission as of 5-3-2015 is $ 9,846. Our goal this year is $12,300. Thank you.
6. Today there will be NO line Dance practice.
7. Happy Mother’s Day to all the St. Bridget Mothers. To celebrate Mother’s Day, a free pasta lunch will be provided by the Snack Team after Mass for all the mothers and grandmothers of St. Bridget. A limited amount of lunches also available for $5.

The Salesian Youth Ministry has organized an「Evening Prayer for young adults to celebrate the Year of Consecrated Life」on Saturday, May 23 2015 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Cathedral of Los Angeles. You are all welcome to attend.
9. Parish Graduation Mass will take place on June 14 to honor Parish High School/College/Post/Technical School Graduates. We invite ALL graduates, families and friends to be a part of this celebration. Please contact Vincent Yip or Richard Cheung.
10. The St Bridget Summer Program will take place 7/12 – 8/30 every Sunday 9:30am-2:30pm. Program includes cooking/arts & craft, computer programming, children Mass, lunch and family swimming. Check out the flyer at church entrance or contact Alan Wong.
11. Firemark Chinese Catholic High Schooler Summer Camp will take place 6/20-21 in Montebello De Paul Evangelization Center, the theme is “Self”, cost is $120. Contact Ken Dong/Richard Cheung.
12. Scholarships are offered to high school/college students who attend St. Bridget regularly. Please pick up the application form from Fr. Lam’s office or Michael Wong. Deadline is June 1.

8. 慈幼青少年牧民團己安排於5月23日由晚上5時至8時在主教座堂舉行「青少年為獻身的修道人祈禱晚會」。歡迎各位青少年參與。
9. 堂區將於6月14日（星期日）為今年高中，大學或以上學歷的畢業生舉行畢業感恩祭。誠邀本堂畢業生與親友一同慶祝他們辛勤的成果，並向天父獻上感恩的心。畢業生請與 Joseph Koay 或 Richard Cheung 聯絡查詢及報名。
10. 本堂暑期班將於7/12至8/30每星期日上午9:30至下午2:30進行,內容包括烹飪/手工藝,電腦程式,兒童彌撒,午餐和游泳.名額有限, CCD學生優先.詳情請參看聖堂入口報告板或聯絡Alan Wong.
11. Firemark高中青年夏令營舉辦日期為6/20-21兩天一夜, 主題是”你我祂”, 費用$120, 對象是高中生, 神師是黎修女和邱淑芬修女, 提供經濟幫助, 請聯絡Richard Chueng 或Ken Dong.
12. 本堂現在開始接受每年一次的獎學金申請。如果您的孩子就讀於高中（9至12年級）或者4年大學可以參加。請從神父辦公室或Michael Wong處領取申請表。我們不僅要注重學校GPA, 也重视你在本堂的社區服務和私人推薦信。申請表須在6/1前呈上。
