Announcements
1. The Legion of Mary will have “Our Lady of Assumption” Mass on Aug 12 (Saturday) at 9:30am. All are welcome.
2. A dear parishioner, member of the Holy Family Sodality, Mr. C.H. Shing was called home to our Heavenly Father on 7/24. Please pray for the repose of his soul. He assisted his wife Becky in teaching the Mandarin class.  Fr. Lam celebrated Mass of Resurrection for him in our church, and he also did the burial at Rose Hills Cemetery on Friday, 7/28
3. On 8/4, the first Friday devotion to the Sacred Heart, there will be adoration at 6:30pm and Mass at 7:30pm. You are all welcome. It is also the feast day of St. John Vianey, he is the patron saint of pastors.
4. Fr. John Lam will celebrate a Memorial Mass on Saturday, 8/5/2017 at 9:30 am in our church for Mr. C. H. Shing. Please join Becky and family to pray for the repose of Mr. C. H. Shing.
5. CACCLC (California Chinese Catholic Living Camp) will be having their annual camp/retreat this year! We would like to invite all young adults (18+) to join us to for a fun weekend of meeting new friends, encountering God, and learning more about our faith. This year’s theme is “Many Parts, One Body” and our spiritual director is Fr. John Love. Camp will take place on Labor Day Weekend, 9/1-9/4, at the Santa Teresita Youth Conference Center in Three Rivers, CA near Fresno. The early bird registration is until July 28: $150 for students and $200 for working adults! 6. FR Dinner program book is now accepting ads. We need your help to promote to your friends and business partners like agents, doctors, restaurants etc. Please also thank those who have already placed ad in the past. Personal messages are also welcome. Please contact Hazel Ng.
7. The Eagle Court of Honor for Henry Cheung and Joseph Louie will be held at 2:00 pm today.  They wish to thank the St. Bridget parishioners for all their support.
8. CCALA is hosting the 4th Taste of St. Bridget on 8/20.  In order to infuse new ideas and expand the menu, we are soliciting sponsors.  The sponsorship can be by sodality, family, group, or individuals.  If you are “culinary-challenged” but eager to participate in the event, you can sponsor us financially, we will recruit a chef to create a dish for you.  Please contact Agnes Yeung (626-200-7722) or Maggie Tsui (805-241-5905).
9. Religious Education Program is now enrolling students for the 2017-2018 school year.  Please contact Wan Ching Law before or after English Mass to register.  The fee schedule is the same as last year: $50 for 1 student; $65 for 2 from the same family, and $75 for 3 from the same family.

堂區報告
1. 聖母軍將於8月12日(星期六), 早上9時半舉行聖母升天彌撒，歡迎教友參加。
2. 本堂區教友盛全興先生於7/24 安息主懷. 請大家為他的靈魂祈禱。盛先生及妻子Becky 是聖家組會員,服務教友,曾一起跟 Becky教國語。林神父已於7/28(星期五)在本堂為他舉行逾越聖祭, 隨後在玫瑰山莊主持安葬禮。
3. 8月4日(星期五) 首瞻禮六, 晩上6時30分有明供聖體, 7時30分有特敬聖心彌撒, 歡迎各位教友參加. 今日也是聖若翰維亞納司鐸慶日, 他是本堂神父的主保.
