Announcements
1. 3/9(Fri.) there will be Stations of the Cross at 7:30. All are welcome. It is also a day of abstinence.
2. 3/10 Saturday, there will be Mass at 9:30am, followed by Lenten retreat facilitated by Fr. Lam. Topic is “Sir, give me this water.” The conversion of the Samaritan woman.
3. Holy Family Society Chinese New Year celebration and the
1st meeting for 2018 will be held at St. Joseph House
today. Program will start at 11:00 AM. Lunch will be provided.
4. To support Salesian High School’s “Clothes4Cash” fundraising event, St. Bridget’s Salesian Cooperators will be collecting gently used but clean clothing for them. Items needed include: clothing, shoes, belts, handbags, backpacks, towels, beddings, … Collection will be help on 3/11/18. There will be collection spot on that day. Please contact Symon Tsui for further details.
5. Religious Education will be hosting its annual Family Lenten Retreat on Sunday 3/11/2018 from 9:30am to3:00pm. This retreat will replace our regular CCD classes and all families are encouraged to participate. The retreat is free with lunch provided. Donations are welcome. Please sign up with WanChing Law or Cindy Ng.
6. Save the Date! 3rd Annual walkathon will take place on Sunday, 4/8, at Cathedral High School. Starting on Sunday, 3/11, after each mass, we will have sponsor forms available for pick up. We will also be selling walkathon t-shirts for $20 each (S, M, L, XL). Thank you in advance for your support!
7. Together In Mission: the goal for St. Bridget Chinese Catholic Church this year is $11,786. We will achieve this goal by second collections. As of 2/25/2018, our cumulative collection was $3,214. Thank you for your generosity.
8. Starting 2/3 to 4/14, VITA program at St. Bridget Chinese Catholic Church will provide free income tax service on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm to families with annual total income $54,000 or lower. Those who are interested may call (323)222-5518 for appointment. Volunteer may contact Raymond Wong for detail.
9. Everyoung group will celebrate St. Joseph their patron saint on 3/17 (Sat.) at 9:30am. There will be Mass, anointment of the sick, new member’s oath and blessing. Members and parishioners are welcome. There will be monthly meeting afterwards. Everyone wants to know more about Everyoung are welcome.
10. North America Chinese Catholic Apostolate Convention 2018 will be held in Mary Help of Christians Parish Edmonton, Canada from May 18 to 21. You are all welcome. Please register with Fr. John Lam if you are interested. Please see the poster for details.

1. 3月9日(星期五) 晚上7時30分有苦路善功, 歡迎各位教友參加. 今日亦應守小齋, 紀念基督的苦難.
2. 3月10日(星期六) 今日上午9時30分有彌撒聖祭, 之後於10時15分開始四旬期退省, 由林健漢神父主講: 「先生! 請給我這水」, 撒瑪利亞婦人的悔改.
3. 聖家會今天舉行中國新年團拜聯歡及2018年第一次月會，提供午餐。節目由上午十一時開始，敬請各會及有興趣者屈時出席。
4. 為餉應慈幼中學舉辦的故衣募捐運動, 本堂慈幼拹進會將在本堂收集舊, 但潔淨的衣物 (如衣服, 鞋, 手袋, 背囊, 皮帶, 毛巾, 床上用品, 等 等). 請將捐贈物品於3月11 日交與收集點或與Symon Tsui聯絡.
5. 兒童道理班將在3/11(日)9:30am-3:00pm舉辦年度家庭退省,並取代當天的道理班課,鼓勵所有家庭參加.費用全免並提供午餐,歡迎捐獻. 請聯絡青青或Cindy Ng.
6. 今年Walkathon 在四月八日會在Cathedral High School 舉行。從三月十一日起在中文和英文彌撒後會有參加表格領取。參加者只需付二十元即可領取丅shirt 一件。
7. 『共襄福傳』: 本年度，羅省華人天主堂的籌募目標為$11,786。我們將於每主日收集第二次奉獻直至達標為止。截至 2/25/2018, 我們籌得的款項累計為 $3,214。謝謝各位的慷慨。
