Announcements
1. 3/2 (Fri.) is first Friday in Lent. There will be Station of the Cross at 6:30pm and Mass at 7:30pm. All are welcome. It is also a day of abstinence.
2. 3/3 (Sat.) is the first Saturday, there will be 9:30am Mass. All are welcome.
3. 3/10 Saturday, Lenten retreat will be facilitated by Fr. Lam. Topic is “Sir, give me this water.” The conversion of the Samaritan woman.
4. To support Salesian High School’s “Clothes4Cash” fundraising event, St. Bridget’s Salesian Cooperators will be collecting gently used but clean clothing for them. Items needed include: clothing, shoes, belts, handbags, backpacks, towels, beddings, … Collection will be help on 3/11/18. There will be collection spot on that day. Please contact Symon Tsui for further details.
5. Religious Education will be hosting its annual Family Lenten Retreat on Sunday 3/11/2018 from 9:30am to 3:00pm. This retreat will replace our regular CCD classes and all families are encouraged to participate. The retreat is free with lunch provided. Donations are welcome. Please sign up with Wan Ching Law or Cindy Ng.
6. Together In Mission: the goal for St. Bridget Chinese Catholic Church this year is $11,786. We will achieve this goal by second collections. As of 2/18/2018, our cumulative collection was $2,364. Thank you for your generosity.
7. Due to the Firecracker Run and streets around the area will be blocked off. HFS has postponed the Celebration for Chinese Lunar New Year and HFS meeting to March 04, 2018. Program starts at 11 AM. Lunch and meeting will be started at 12:30 pm. Members and who are interested, please come to join this party.
8. The Church and CCALA have already distributed or mailed out 2017 donation receipts. If you have not received yours, please contact Maggie Tsui.
9. Starting 2/3 to 4/14, VITA program at St. Bridget Chinese Catholic Church will provide free income tax service on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm to families with annual total income $54,000 or lower. Those who are interested may call (323)222-5518 for appointment. Volunteer may contact Raymond Wong for detail.
10. North America Chinese Catholic Apostolate Convention 2018 will be held in Mary Help of Christians Parish Edmonton, Canada from May 18 to 21. You are all welcome. Please register with Fr. John Lam if you are interested. Please see the poster for details.
11. There will be NO line dance practice today.

堂區報告
1. 3月2日(星期五) 首瞻禮六也是四旬期內星期五, 晚上6時30分有中文苦路善功, 7時30分有特敬耶穌聖心彌撒, 歡迎各位教友參加. 提醒各位教友四旬期星期五當守小齋.
2. 3月3日(星期六) 是三月份第一個星期六, 早上9時30分在本堂有彌撒聖祭, 歡迎各位教友參加.
3. 3月10日(星期六) 本堂舉辦四旬期退省, 由林健漢神父主講: 「先生! 請給我這水」, 撒瑪利亞婦人的悔改.
4. 為餉應慈幼中學舉辦的故衣募捐運動, 本堂慈幼拹進會將在本堂收集舊, 但潔淨的衣物 (如衣服, 鞋, 手袋, 背囊, 皮帶, 毛巾, 床上用品, 等 等). 請將捐贈物品於3月11 日交與收集點或與Symon Tsui聯絡.
5. 兒童道理班將在3/11(日)9:30am-3:00pm舉辦年度家庭退省,並取代當天的道理班課,鼓勵所有家庭參加.費用全免並提供午餐,歡迎捐獻.請聯絡青青或Cindy Ng.
6. 『共襄福傳』: 本年度，羅省華人天主堂的籌募目標為$11,786。我們將於每主日收集第二次奉獻直至達標為止。截至 2/18/2018, 我們籌得的款項累計為 $2,364。謝謝各位的慷慨。
7. 由於華埠一年一度的Fire Crackers Run將在2/25舉行。屆時交通會因道路封閉受阻，故聖家會新春慶祝活動及月會，將會延期至三月四日舉行，節目將於十一時開始，午餐及會議將於十二時半開始。敬請會員及有興趣者屆時出席。

9. 羅省華人天主教堂為低收入人仕免費報稅服務, 限於全家整年(2017) 收入不超過 $54,000. 時間是由2月3日至4月14日, 每週星期六早上9時至下午1時在 448 Cottage Home St., 如有興趣參加者, 請致電(323)222-5518 預約, 如有關免費報稅服務問題, 請與Raymond Wong 聯絡.
