Announcements
1. The cooperator officers will be commissioned today during Mass, the officers are Warren Lee, co-ordinator; Ana Vong, vice co-ordinator; Edmond Ngo, secretary; Phoebe Mok, treasurer.
2. 8/6 (Mon.) Transfiguration of the Lord. Please go to your local church and pray that Jesus strengthens us through His transfiguration.
3. 8/8 (Wed.) St. Dominic (Priest). He is the founder of Dominican Order. Pray that he blesses all the Dominicans.
4. 8/10 (Fri.) St Lawrence (Deacon, Martyr). Pray that he blesses all the deacons.
5. 8/11 (Sat.) there will be 9:30am Mass at church. It is also the day of St. Clare (Virgin). We will also remember Thomas Lau and pray for the repose of his soul.
6. Gift card donation is needed for the fundraising dinner raffle prizes. Please contact Hazel Ng.
7. Oakland diocesan priest Fr. Thomas Ng passed away at 8pm on Tuesday 7/31. He had celebrated Mass with us before. Please pray for his soul.
8. 8/ 15 ( Wed) at 7:30pm. Legion of Mary celebrates Our Lady of Assumption Feast Day. All are welcome.
9. The Mary Help of Christians Center design is going well, we would like to update you and answer your questions in more detail than a short presentation at the end of the Mass allow. You are invited to a 2 hours town hall meeting to go over the design and answer your questions, today at 2:00PM, at the living room of St. Joseph house. We are inviting the architect to join us for this town hall meeting.
10. All young adults ages 18 and older are invited to the California Chinese Catholic Living Camp (CACCLC) this Labor Day Weekend, August 31 – September 1 in Three Rivers, CA. Fr. James L. Heft from USC will talk about the theme of “Taking Ownership of Faith: Head, Heart, and Hands.” Early-bird registration from June 30th – July 31st is $150 for students/non-working and $190 for working individuals. 5. 8月11日(星期六)早上9時30分在本堂有彌撒, 今日亦是聖嘉勒貞女節日, 彌撒中我們也追思劉貴行兄弟, 求主賜他永遠安息.

10. 一年一度的加州天主教華人生活營 (CACCLC)將於6/30開始報名。生活營將會在8/31至9/3的勞工節長週末在Three Rivers, CA 舉行。今年的主題是「以思想,心靈和雙手實践信仰」。主講神師是Fr. James L. Heft。歡迎所有18歲以上的青年朋友與我們一起共度愉快開心的週末，加深我們的信仰生活，與主相遇。如在7/31前報名有早鳥優惠: 學生／非就業人士收費為$150,就業人士收費 為$190。有興趣參加CACCLC的本堂教友青年，請直接與 Anthony / Cecilia Vong 聯絡或電郵cacclc2018@cacclc.org.
11. 今天健康舞蹈練習於慈幼青年中心一號室舉行,時間為12:15-2:00PM。
