Announcements
1. The fundraising food sale held by Mast Chef Mr. Yeung, his Family and the Kitchen Team on 7/21/2019 netted $1,004 to support the CCALA’s construction of the community center. We want to thank you for your support. Those helped in preparing the food had a lot of fun and those purchased the food had a delicious meal. Hope other sodalities and individuals can sponsor similar events.
2. The Snack Team will have fundraising again next week 8/4 with boba drink, tea eggs, mochi, spam musubi etc.
3. 8/2 Fri. is First Friday in honor of Sacred Heart of Jesus, but Fr. John Lam will be at UCLA together with the young people celebrating the City of Saints, so the 6:30pm Adoration and 7:30 pm Mass in honor of Sacred Heart will be cancelled. Please attend Mass at your local church.
4. August 3, Saturday is lst Saturday in honor of Immaculate Heart of Mary. But Fr. John Lam is still in UCLA, so we cancel the 9:30 am Mass, so go to attend Mass at your nearby church.
5. 8/ 15 (Thursday) at 7:30pm. Legion of Mary celebrates Our Lady of Assumption Feast Day. All are welcome.
6. The Annual Church group photo will be taken on August 18, 2019 Sunday at around 10:45am between the Chinese mass and the English mass. Please save the date. The photo will be in the 80th anniversary dinner program book.
7. All young adults ages 18 and older are invited to the California Chinese Catholic Living Camp (CACCLC) this Labor Day Weekend, 8/30-9/2 in Three Rivers, CA. Fr. Timothy Lyons from the Legionaries of Christ will talk about the theme of “Living Hope.” Please contact Cecilia Vong/Henry Cheung or visit cacclc.org for more info.
8. HFS Hollywood Bowl – PINK MARTINI BAND concerts on 8/24, 2019. Tickets on sale now. Price is $35/members and $40/ non-members. There is a potluck party before the concert. Please sign up (plus payment) with Holy Family Society members after Chinese/English Mass.
9. The new RCIA class has started. Please invite your family and friends, who do not know about God or those baptized and want to learn about the Catholic faith again, to join the RCIA class. For more information please contact Fr. Lam, Sister Maria Lai, Ken Man, Savio Chan, Connie Lau David Law, or Eric Li.
10. We are now accepting registration of the 2019-2020 Religious Education Program for children age 3 and up. Classes include Good Shepherd Program, Kindergarten, First Communion, elementary school, middle school, and Confirmation Program. Please contact Ching Ching or Cindy Ng, or call (323) 222-5518.
11. 80th Anniversary Celebration Dinner program book is now accepting ads. Please encourage your friends and businesses to advertise on our program book. Personal messages are also welcome. Please contact Agnes Yeung, Amy Chau or Rita Chu.

堂區報告
1. 大廚楊先生,家人和廚房團隊在7/21/2019舉辦的擴建午餐義賣,賺得$1,004.這筆款項已交给協會.感謝大家技持.是次活動做的開心,吃的高興;希望其他教友,善會也能參與.
2. 下星期日8/4小食組繼續有小食義賣,包括波霸特飲, 茶葉蛋, 糯米滋, 午餐肉壽司等.
3. 8月2日星期五首瞻禮六，特敬聖心日，但因林神父前往UCLA 參加與青少年一起舉辦的 City of Saints 青少年大聚會，並聽他們的告解，故近此晚上6時30分的明供聖體及7時30分的特敬聖心了彌撒取消，請往你居住附近聖堂參與彌撒。
4. 8月3日(星期六) 是特敬聖母無玷聖心日，但因林神父仍在UCLA故此早上9時30分彌撒取消，請往你居住附近聖堂參與彌撒。
5. 8月15日(星期四)晚上7時30分, 聖母軍慶祝聖母蒙召升天瞻禮，歡迎所有教友參加。
6. 年度堂區合影將於8/18主日上午10:45分在中英彌撒之間拍攝。請記下日期。這張照片將出現在80週年晚宴場刊中。
7. 加州天主教華人生活營 (CACCLC)將會在8/30至9/2的勞工節長週末在Three Rivers, CA 舉行。今年的主題是「活出望德」。主講神師是Fr. Timothy Lyons。歡迎所有18歲以上的青年朋友與我們一起共度愉快開心的週末，加深我們的信仰生活，與主相遇。有興趣參加CACCLC的本堂教友青年，請直接與 Cecilia Vong/Henry Cheung聯絡或到網站cacclc.org查詢.
