Announcements

1) September 7 (Monday) is Labor Day, Holiday, the office will be closed. In case of emergency, please call Fr. John Lam at 323-382-5922.
2) September 19 (Saturday) There will be a memorial Mass for Andrew Sit at 9:30 am. You are all welcome to pray for the repose of his soul.
3) A heartfelt thank you for your support for Fr. John Lam’s 80th Birthday Celebration event. The tax receipt for your donation for this event has been mailed out; if you have not received yours, please contact Maggie Tsui (888 252 8968).
4) Even though the pandemic has prevented many of us from gathering together physically to worship as a community, it will not stop us from caring and praying for one another. Starting from September, our parish will begin to host online prayer meetings on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month. We encourage our sodalities to participate by hosting the meeting or submitting prayer intentions on behalf of your members. Please contact Connie Lau, Eric Li, Peter Chan, Savio Chan, David Law, or Ching Ching for more information. Our first prayer meeting will be an Eucharistic Adoration on 9/4 Friday at 8pm.
5) We are accepting registration for the 2020-2021 Religious Education Program for children age 3 and up. The new school year will begin on 9/20/2020. Due to the pandemic, we will have virtual learning classes at 1:30pm every Sunday afternoons. Please invite children of your friends and family to come and learn about God! Please contact Ching Ching, Cindy Ng, or Sister Maria for more information.
6) Please join our 2020 Virtual Walkathon. Walk 20 min. a day from 10/1/20 to 10/18/20. Stay healthy and have fun. Sign up today, Reg Fee $10. See flyer for more details.
7) According to the instructions given by the Archdiocese, Mass can only be celebrated outdoors. All mass attendees must wear face masks and maintain 6′ social distance at all times. Parishioners who would like to attend Mass in-person, please continue to register

Since the Sunday Mass has been suspended, we would appreciate anything that you can continue to do for your parish. You may make your donation using the following methods:

4) 因為疫情，一些禮儀取消了，以致我們未能一同在教堂共聚参與，但疫情阻不了我們互相關心；彼此祈禱。從九月份開始，每月的第一個星期五晚(首瞻禮六)和第三個星期五晚，我們會在網上見面，一同通功祈禱。若你們所屬的善會或小組願意主持一次祈禱聚會，或有祈禱意向，請與我們小组聯络：Connie Lau、Eric Li、Peter Chan、Savio Chan、David Law 或 Ching Ching。首次祈禱聚會 —— 明供聖體祈禱會：9/4/2020 星期五晚上八時。
5) 兒童道理班現接受下學年的報名。2020-2021學年將於 9/20/20 開學，因疫情關係，今年兒童道理班課程將於星期日下午一時三十分在網上進行，請邀請你們認識的三歲以上小朋友及青年參加好牧人課程，幼兒班，初領聖體，小學及初中，以及中學堅振班。詳情請聯絡Ching Ching, Cindy Ng, or Sister Maria。
