Announcements

1) September 19 (Saturday) There will be a memorial Mass for Andrew Sit at 9:30 am. You are all welcome to pray for the repose of his soul.
2) A heartfelt thank you for your support for Fr. John Lam’s 80th Birthday Celebration event. The tax receipt for your donation for this event has been mailed out; if you have not received yours, please contact Maggie Tsui (888 252 8968).
3) Even though the pandemic has prevented many of us from gathering together physically to worship as a community, it will not stop us from caring and praying for one another. Starting from September, our parish will begin to host online prayer meetings on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month. We encourage our sodalities to participate by hosting the meeting or submitting prayer intentions on behalf of your members. Please contact Connie Lau, Eric Li, Peter Chan, Savio Chan, David Law, or Ching Ching for more information. Next prayer meeting will be on 9/18 Friday at 8pm.
4) Our 2020-2021 Religious Education Program will begin on 9/20/2020. It will be held online from 1:30-2:45 pm every Sunday. Please invite children of your friends and family to come and learn about God! Please contact Ching Ching, Cindy Ng, or Sister Maria for more information. Parents who are interested in joining the program and would like to learn more about it, please join our parent meeting this Sunday, 9/13, at 1:30pm on https://zoom.us/join (Meeting ID: 834 6206 0823 Passcode: 888422).
5) Although the annual Firemark Camp for high school students has been cancelled due to the pandemic, the organizers have decided to offer a series of virtual gatherings for the young people. The first Firemark Virtual Meeting will be held on 9/26, Saturday, at 4-5pm. The theme of the gathering is “What’s your ups and downs on this special year?” All 9th – 12th grade students are encouraged to participate with parent permission. 6) Please join our 2020 Virtual Walkathon. Walk 20 min. a day from 10/1/20 to 10/18/20. Stay healthy and have fun. Sign up today, Reg Fee $10. See flyer for more details.
7) According to the instructions given by the Archdiocese, Mass can only be celebrated outdoors. All mass attendees must wear face masks and maintain 6′ social distance at all times. Parishioners who would like to attend Mass in-person, please continue to register

3) 因為疫情，一些禮儀取消了，以致我們未能一同在教堂共聚参與，但疫情阻不了我們互相關心；彼此祈禱。從九月份開始，每月的第一個星期五晚(首瞻禮六)和第三個星期五晚，我們會在網上見面，一同通功祈禱。若你們所屬的善會或小組願意主持一次祈禱聚會，或有祈禱意向，請與我們小组聯络：Connie Lau、Eric Li、Peter Chan、Savio Chan、David Law 或 Ching Ching。下次祈禱聚會在9/18/2020 星期五晚上八時。
