Announcements

1) Today August 7, Sunday, 1:30-5pm, Fr. Louis Aldrich, S.J., a Jesuit priest, Professor of Theology, Fu Jen University Taiwan, and an expert in life ethics, will give us his insights on what is happening in our society and how to stay hopeful keeping a deep and close relationship with Jesus. The title of his presentation is “Being a Christian in a constantly changing, increasingly secular world.” and it will be conducted in English. It’s free to attend, but donations will be accepted to support Fr. Ai’s evangelization work in Taiwan. 2) Our summer picnic will be held on Aug 20, Saturday at Frank G Bonelli Park in San Dimas. This huge and beautiful park facilities surrounding the lake offer a variety of recreational activities. All families and friends are welcome to join. Please obtain details from the flyer or contact Agnes Yeung, Cindy Ng and/ Maggie Lee for inquiries. Registration due on 8/8/2022.
3) Legion of Mary will invite Fr. Augustine Tsang to celebrate the “Assumption of Our Lady” Mass on August 13 (Saturday) at 9:30am. After mass, there will be a conference on “Our Blessed Mary”. Everyone is welcome to join.
4) Next Sunday, August 14, we will have “Missionary Cooperative Plan”, Maryknoll Sr. Alice C. Vandenoever will preach in both Chinese & English Masses.
5) The new 2022-2023 RCIA class will start on July 24th. We would like to ask you to invite your family’s member, friends or neighbor, who do not know about God or those baptized and want to learn more about the Catholic faith, to join the RCIA class. Please contact Fr. Pong, Connie Lau, David Law or Eric Li.
6) All young adults ages 18+ are invited to the California Chinese Catholic Living Camp (CACCLC) this Labor Day weekend, September 2-5, 2022, in Three Rivers, CA. Fr. Philip Yang, O.S.A. will lead us through the theme of “Cross Culture”. Please contact Cecilia Vong or visit cacclc.org, Facebook, and Instagram (@cacclc) for more information.

堂區報告

2) 聖堂大旅行將於八月二十日(星期六)前往位於 San Dimas 的 Frank G Bonelli Regional Park。公園環境優美，面積大而且備有多種康樂設施。歡迎各位教友帶同家人朋友一同參加，詳情可參考海報或向Agnes Yeung, Cindy Ng 和 Maggie Lee查詢。 八月八日截止報名。
3) 聖母軍於8月13日（星期六) 早上9時半,舉行聖母蒙召升天彌撒, 由曾慶導神父主持，彌撒後有講座，主題是[聖母]，歡迎各位教友參加。
4) 下主日8月14日我們舉辦「福傳日」﹐瑪利諾女修會會士Sr. Alice C. Vandenoever MM 將在中英文彌撒中講道。
5) 新一屆成人慕道課程 (2022-23) 於7月24日開始。現誠邀你身邊的親朋好友和左鄰右里，不論是未認識天主教信仰或是有興趣再慕道者，來參加成人慕道課程。詳情請向龐神父、Connie Lau 、David Law或 Eric Li 聯絡。
6) 一年一度的加州華人天主教生活營 (CACCLC) 將會在 9/2 至 9/5 的勞工節長週末在Three Rivers, CA 舉行。今年的主題是「跨文化的認知」，將由 Fr. Philip Yang, O.S.A. 帶領。歡迎所有18歲以上的青年朋友與我們一起共度愉快開心的週末，加深我們的信仰生活，與主相遇。有興趣參加 CACCLC 的本堂教友青年，請直接與 Cecilia Vong 聯絡或到網站 cacclc.org 查詢。
