Announcements

1) On the 3rd Friday of every month, Fr. Peter Pong will be leading Lectio Divina for us at 8:00pm. All are welcome to join! Next meeting on 11/18/2022. Meeting ID: 818 3952 5229. Passcode: 493268.
2) Legion of Mary will offer a mass for all the deceased members on November 19 at 9:30am. Everyone is welcome to join.
3) Our parish Baptism candidate Connie Mok will receive the Rite of Initiation on the Vigil mass of “Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe”, Nov 19 (Saturday) at 5 p.m. The RCIA team would like to invite parishioners to join and witness Connie to receive the Sacrament of Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Communion.
4) In light of last year’s successful Thanksgiving luncheon, Holy Family Society will host a Thanksgiving luncheon again this year on 11/20/2022, after the Mass. To ensure the proper amount of food is prepared, we respectfully request that you purchase the luncheon ticket on coming Sunday. The ticket is $5/person, and there will be no ticket sale on the day of the event.
5) Advent Retreat in Chinese will be held on November 26 from 9:30am to 4:00pm. Spiritual Director is Fr. Francis Ng, the topic is : the Gate of Heaven is not in Heaven. The fee is $10.00 per person, breakfast and lunch included.
6) Gift Shop Re-opening – Starting November, the operating hours for the Gift Shop will be from 10:30 to 10:45 am after Chinese Mass, and 12:15 to 12:30 pm after English Mass. You are welcome to come by to check out our special sales of the month, shop religious gifts for the Holy Sacraments, and holiday gifts for your loved ones. All proceeds will go to our church. If you need help outside the operating hours, please contact Helen or Fr Lam.
7) November is dedicated to [All Souls], we put out the intention form and envelopes on the reception table, please fill in the Form and put it in the box. Fr. Lam and Fr. Pong will pray for your deceased relatives and friends in November.

3) 本堂候洗者Connie Mok 將於十一月十九日下午五時在基督君王節中文提前彌撒中領受入門聖事。 成人慕道團誠邀大家一齊參加及見證Connie領受聖洗、堅振及聖體聖事。
4) 聖家組去年舉辦的感恩節聚餐﹐ 承蒙眾多教友參與﹐ 我們再接再勵於本月20日再舉辦感恩節聚餐。時間: 11/20/2022 彌撤後﹐ 歡迎大家踴躍參加﹐ 為了準備適量食物﹐ 敬請大家在本星期日預先購票﹐ 票價一律$5。 聚餐當日不售票。
5) 將臨期退省將於十一月廿六日上午九時卅分至下午四時。神師是吳仲基神父﹐主題是「天堂的門不在天」。請預早報名﹐費用是$10元﹐包括早餐及午餐。
6) 聖物部重新開業從十一月開始, 聖物部營業時間為中文彌撒後10:30 至10:45 am 及 英文彌撒後12:15 至 12:30 pm。歡迎前來參觀我們的每月精選禮品，選購宗教聖物。 所有收益將幫助我們的教堂。如有特別禮品需要, 可提前通知代訂。 如在營業時間以外需要幫助，請聯繫Helen 或林神父。
7) 十一月是煉靈月, 特別為亡者祈禱, 請各位教友填寫為已亡親友的祈禱意向, 放入奉獻箱內, 林神父及龐神父會為他們靈魂安息主懷祈禱。 「煉靈月紀念先人意向表」及其信封放在接待處台上。
