Announcements

1) January 16 (Monday): Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday, it is holiday, the church office will be closed, in case of emergency, please call Fr. John Lam at: 323-382-5922.
2) On the 3rd Friday of every month, Fr. Peter Pong will be leading Lectio Divina for us at 8:00pm. All are welcome to join! Next meeting on 1/20/2023. Meeting ID: 818 3952 5229. Passcode: 493268.
3) The 2023 donation envelops are available, please obtain yours from members of the Finance Council. For your convenience, they have set up a distribution booth outside today. As for the 2022 donation receipts, they will be distributed in late January 2023.
4) 2023 Liturgical calendar has been printed. Each calendar costs $4.75 per copy, suggested donation is $5.00 per copy. Your donation is much appreciated.
5) January 21 (Saturday): We have Chinese New Year Eve thanksgiving mass at 9:30 am, you are all welcome. Wishing you all Happy New Year.
6) On Sunday, 1/22/2023, Archbishop Jose Gomez will celebrate Mass with us. In the Mass, he will bless couples of significant wedding anniversaries. If you had celebrated in 2022 or will celebrate in 2023 wedding anniversary in multiples of 5-years (5th, 10th, 15th, 20th, 25th, 30th, 35th, 40th, 45th, 50th and so on), you are invited to register with Agnes Yeung (daikajei718@gmail.com or 626 200-7722). 1/15/2023, today is the last day to register. In light that the current church facility cannot adequately host all the wedding couples, the organizing committee regretfully cancels the lunch. The Blessing event will be free. Couples will still receive a candle, a certificate for commemoration.
7) The Shepherd Group has elected the following officers for the calendar year 2023 and 2024. President – Brian Chow Vice President – Micah Wu Spiritual Leader – Eric Li Administrative Director – Winnie Chang Shepherd Group’s mission is to allow members to come together in a comfortable environment where members can socialize with each other, learn from one another, grow through the sharing of our faith, and also participate and assist in events hosted by St Bridget. We welcome anyone age 21+ (Catholics or Non-Catholics) to join us. If interested, please contact Brian Chow and Micah Wu.

6) 2023年1月22日星期日，大總主教恭美智將與我們一起慶祝農曆新年彌撒。在彌撒中，他將祝福夫婦結婚的重要週年紀念日。如果您在2022年，或將在2023年慶祝結婚5、10、15、如此類推結婚紀念日，本堂邀請您跟Agnes Yeung姐妹報名. 或電郵(daikajei718@gmail.com 或 626 200-7722) 聯絡。報名延長至1/15/2023日截止。因為聖母進教之佑中心未能使用，籌辦委員反省未能供應適當場地，故改變計劃，取消午餐，敬請原諒。祝福禮儀不需交費，但各夫婦仍然有精緻蠟燭、證書，留為紀念。
