1. 本主日堂區繼續為教區〝Together in Mission〞收第二次奉献,多謝各教友支持現已收到了$5,641.65,本堂區捐款目標是$7,247.80。
2. 四旬期內由3月11日至4月22日,逢星期五晚上7時30分在聖堂內有拜苦路,請各位教友參加。
3. 今天有健康舞班練習,時間是下午12:30 – 2:30. 在 St. Joseph House,請準時出席。
4. 4月6日林神父將往西雅圖(Seattle) 主持四旬期退省(4/9/11) 及主日聖祭(4/10/11) ,之後前往Oregon探望二位兄長及家人。4月14日反回羅省。林神父度假期間將由王建章神父代理。如有要事,請與Michael Lau聯絡。
5. 堂區將於4月16日星期六上午9時至下午4時舉行四旬期中文退省,由來自温哥華的何庭耀神父主講,主題是「成聖之道」。費用為$10包括午餐。中文彌撒後接受報名。請不要錯過今天最後報名的機會!
6. 慈幼會的Boys and Girls Club將在星期六4日16日在Santa Anita Park 舉行”A Day at the Race” 籌款歡樂日,費用為$40包括泊車費,入場費,午餐及紀念品,僅是今天一天報名,如有興趣請與Maggie Lau 聯絡。
7. 耆英組將在5日14日,星期六舉辦一年一度的朝聖一日遊,當日早上8時開始到下午5時半,旅程將是聖若望神學院 (St. John Seminary),Camarillo Outlet 及San Buenaventura Mission. 歡迎各教友參加,費用為$20一位。
8. 聖家組將在5月14-15日舉辦兩日旅遊到死亡谷及拉斯維加斯。會員費用是$130,其他參加者費用是$140。名頟有限,有意參加者與Maggie Tsui或Stanley Chu報名。
9. 北美華語第十八屆天主教基督活力運動實習班將於5月26至29日在河濱縣聖言會舉行。彭保祿神父是其中講者之一,有興趣者請盡快與Maggie Lau聯絡及報名。
10. 本堂繼續直至4/16為本堂教友及鄰近社區低收入人仕免費報2010年的個人入息稅. 只要家庭總收入不超過$40,000, 便可接受此項服務. 請大家通知可享用這項服務的親友. 查眴及預約電話 (323)222-5518。

The Fifth Sunday of Lent

1. The second collection for “Together in Mission” will continue. We have collected $5,641.65 towards the target of $7247.80.
2. There will be a Station of the Cross every Friday at 7:30 p.m. during Lent (from March 11th through April 22nd). All parishioners are encouraged to attend.
3. There will be a line dance today at St. Joseph House from 12:30 to 2:30.
4. Father Lam has gone to Seattle on Wednesday April 6th to preside over the retreat there yesterday and the Mass today. He will go to Oregon to visit his two older brothers and families afterwards. He will return to Los Angeles on Thursday April 14th. In his absence Father Wang will assume his duties. For important personal business please contact Michael Lau.
5. Our Church’s annual Cantonese retreat will be held on April 16th. It will be directed by Fr. Anthony Ho from Vancouver. The topic will be “the Way to Sainthood.” The cost is $10 and includes lunch. Please register after the Chinese Mass.
6. The Salesian Boys and Girls Club will sponsor “A Day at the Races” at the Santa Anita Park race track on Saturday, April 16th. The cost of this fund raising activity, including parking, admission, lunch, and memorabilia, is $40. Registration is open today only. Please contact Maggie Lau if interested
7. The annual pilgrimage of the Everyoung Society will take place on Saturday May 14th from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. It will include St. John’s Seminary, the Camarillo Outlet and the San Buenaventura Mission. All parishioners are welcome. The cost is $20 per person.
8. The Holy Family Society will sponsor a bus tour to Death Valley and Las Vegas for Saturday May 14th through Sunday May 15th. The cost is $130 for members and $140 for non-members. The bus is full, however standby reservations are taken. If there is sufficient interest, a second bus may be provided. Please contact Maggie Tsui or Stanley Chu as soon as possible.
9. The 18th annual Chinese Cursillo Movement workshop will take place from May 26th to 29th at the Riverside Holy Word Society. Father Paul Pang will be one of the speakers. If you are interested, please contact Maggie Lau to register as soon as possible.
10. Our church is continuing its participation in VITA, which is a free income tax service for neighboring low income families, through April 16th. You can avail yourself of this service if your family income is below $40,000. Please inform your family and friends. For information or appointment, please call (323)222-5518.
