堂區消息

1.
慈幼會3月25日在羅馬選出新任總會長，由阿根廷南部的Ángel Fernández Artime神父當選，成為聖若望鮑思高神父的第十位繼任人。讓我們感謝天主及為我們的新總會長祈禱。

2.
本堂區2014年度的羅省總教區『共襄福傳』籌募活動目標為$10,758.88。我們將於每主日收集第二次奉獻直至達標為止。謝謝各位的慷慨。

本堂由即日起至4月12日逢星期六為教友及鄰近社區人仕免費申報2013年的入息稅。凡家庭總收入不超過52,000美元均可接受此項服務。請致電 323-222-5518查詢及預約。

劉戊鏗（Michael Lau）先生已2月28日因健康理由正式辭職。我們誠心感謝劉先生過去為堂區所付出的辛勞。願天主祝福他。

4月4日（星期五）首瞻禮六。
| 晚上7時正舉行拜苦路。
| 晚上7時30分在本堂舉行特敬耶穌聖心彌撒。

4月5 日（星期六）特敬聖母聖心日。當天也是中國的清明節。上午9時30分在本堂舉行彌撒聖祭，特別為我們已亡的祖先及親友祈禱。求主賜他們永遠安息。

4月6日（星期日）上午9時30分至10時45分，本堂「保護兒童委員會」（Safeguard The Children Committee）將在在「兒童主日學」（CCD）課室與大家一起探討小朋友在上網時存在的風險及面對的危險，包括欺凌、不雅視像、伺機侵略孩童者、涉露個人資料等。主講者是「保護兒童委員會」主席Denise Woo博士。歡迎各位參加。

4月26日（星期六）耆英會將舉行年度的朝聖活動。地點是聖地牙哥的San Luis Rey de Francia和San Juan Capistrano兩個傳教站。請在彌撒後與耆英會職員聯絡及報名。名額有限，先到先得。

Announcements

1.
The Salesian Society met in Rome on March 25 to elect its new Rector Major (Superior General). Father Angel Fernandez Artime from south Argentina became the tenth successor to St. John Bosco. Let us give thanks to God and pray for our new Rector Major.

2.
The goal of “Together in Mission 2014” of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles for our parish this year is $10,758.88. We will carry out second collections every Sunday until we achieve this goal. Thank you for your generosity.

Our parish offers free tax help to people who make $52,000 or less. Assistance in preparing their 2013 tax returns will be available every Saturday from now till April 12. Please call 323-222-5518 to make reservation.

On February 28, Mr. Michael Lau officially resigned his position due to health reasons. We sincerely thank Mr. Lau for all his past efforts on this church’s behalf. May God continue to bestow blessings on him.

There will be NO line dance practice today.

Friday, April 4 is the first Friday of the month. Stations of the Cross will begin at 7:00 p.m. A special Mass devoted to the Sacred Heart of Jesus will be celebrated at 7:30 p.m.

On Saturday, April 5 at 9:30 a.m. we will have a Mass devoted to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Since it is also the day of the festival of Ching Ming on the lunar calendar, a day to remember our ancestors, we will also especially pray for them and for our deceased friends and relatives, for God to grant them eternal rest.

April 6, Sunday, our parish’s “Safeguard The Children Committee” (STC) will host a discussion group from 9:30a.m. to 10:45 a.m. in the CCD classroom to investigate the dangers of the internet to children, as well as dangers they may physically face, such as bullying, exposure to improper images, child abusers waiting for their opportunities, and exposure of private material. It will be hosted by the chair of the “Safeguard The Children Committee”, Dr. Denise Woo. All are welcome to attend.

The annual pilgrimage of the Everyoung Society will take place on Saturday, April 26. This year’s destinations are the San Luis Rey de Francia and San Juan Capistrano missions. Please register with Everyoung Society officers after Mass. As space is limited, it will be on a first come, first served basis.
