堂區消息

1. 本堂區2014年度的羅省總教區『共襄福傳』籌募活動目標為$10,758.88。我們將於每主日收集第二次奉獻直至達標為止。謝謝各位的慷慨。

共襄福傳 籌募累計是 $7,305.00。是本堂達標的 68 %。

2. 本堂由即日起至4月12日逢星期六為教友及鄰近社區人仕免費申報2013年的入息稅。凡家庭總收入不超過52,000美元均可接受此項服務。請致電 323-222-5518查詢及預約。

3. 慈幼會美西會省省會長 Tim Ploch神父在羅馬全球大會中被選為北美洲及南美洲西部地區的專責專員、並駐守羅馬慈幼會總部。我們衷心恭賀Tim Ploch神父、並為他祈禱。

4. 我們大家所認識的慈幼會中華會省何廣凌神父已於（香港時間）3月31日（星期一）返回天主身傍。讓我們感謝天主曾賜給我們這樣一位聖善的司鐸，同時也為他的靈魂安息祈禱。

5. 今天、4月6日（星期日）上午9時30分至10時45分，本堂「保護兒童委員會」（Safeguard The Children Committee）將在在「兒童主日學」（CCD）課室與大家一起探討小朋友在上網時存在的風險及面對的危險，包括欺凌、不雅視像、伺機侵略孩童者、涉露個人資料等。主講者是「保護兒童委員會」主席Denise Woo博士。歡迎各位參加。

6. 健康舞班將於今天下午12時30分至2時30分在聖若瑟樓練習。

7. 教友梁達全於3月22日安息主懷。喪禮安排如下：
● 4月10日（星期四）上午10至12時在世界中華殯儀館舉行守靈祈禱，隨後火化遺體。
● 4月11日（星期五）下午2時正在 Rose Hills墓園舉行骨灰安葬禮。

8. 4月11日（星期五）四旬期內當守小齋。
● 晚上7時30分舉行拜苦路。

9. 4月12日（星期六）
● 上午9時30分在有彌撒聖祭。歡迎各位教友參與。

10. 4月20日（復活主日）
青年牧民團將在英文彌撒後舉行復活節尋蛋遊戲。歡迎13歲或以下的小朋友參與。

Announcements

1.
The goal of “Together in Mission 2014” of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles for our parish this year is $10,758.88. We will carry out second collections every Sunday until we achieve this goal. Thank you for your generosity.

We have received accumulatively $7,305.00 for “Together In Mission”,
which is 68 % of the goal.

2.
Our parish offers free tax help to people who make $52,000 or less. Assistance in preparing their 2013 tax returns will be available every Saturday from now till April 12. Please call 323-222-5518 to make reservation.

Father Tim Ploch, who had been the Salesian provincial of Western United States, was elected as the Interamerica Regional Superior. He will be resident in the Salesian headquarters in Rome. We wholeheartedly congratulate Fr. Ploch, and pray for his success in this new position.

4.
Father Pedro Ho of the Salesian China Province, who is well known and beloved by all of us, has returned to the Lord on Monday, March 31 (Hong Kong time). Let us give thanks to God for having given us such a saintly and kind priest, and pray for the repose of his soul.

5.
Today April 6, Sunday, our parish’s “Safeguard The Children Committee” (STC) will host a discussion group from 9:30a.m. to 10:45 a.m. in the CCD classroom to investigate the dangers of the internet to children, as well as dangers they may physically face, such as bullying, exposure to improper images, child abusers waiting for their opportunities, and exposure of private material. It will be hosted by the chair of the “Safeguard The Children Committee”, Dr. Denise Woo. All are welcome to attend.

There will be line dance practice today from 12:30p.m. to 2:30p.m. at St. Joseph House.

7.
Our parishioner Leung Dat Tsuen was recalled by the Lord on Saturday, March 22. His funeral services schedule is as follows:
● Thursday, April 10: Rosary and Cremation at the Universal Chung Wah Funeral Home from 10 a.m. to Noon.
● Friday, April 11: Burial of the ashes at Rose Hills at 2 p.m. sharp.

Friday, April 11 is a Friday in Lent, and abstinence should be observed. There will be a Station of the Cross at 7:30 p.m.

9. Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 12. All parishioners are welcome to attend.

10. The Youth Ministry will sponsor the annual Easter Egg Hunt after the English Mass on Easter Sunday, April 20. We welcome all children (13 and under) to join us.
