Bulletin Announcements   06-01-2014

1.
Mass today is especially celebrated for the graduating seniors from high school and university (baccalaureate).  They are Philip Chow and Cecilia Vong.  Please pray that God bless them, and let them continue to grow in God’s love, as well as integrity and knowledge.

2.
The Youth Ministry will continue their summer basketball/Swimming camp this year:
*   The camp will be from June 29 to August 31.
*  The ten weeks will be divided into two sessions.
*  There will be practice every Sunday from 9:30a.m. to 10:45a.m.
*  Every other Sunday, after practice and English Mass, lunch will be served.  We will go to the Salesian Boys’ and Girls’ Club to take part in their competition or swimming, until 2:30p.m.
*  The cost will be $30 for one session, or $45 for two session.
*  Anyone interested please contact Virginia Wong to register.

The annual HFS Hollywood Bowl event has been changed to Saturday, July 5.  As usual, we will have picnic, concert, and then fireworks.  The concert will be “An Evening of Chinese Splendor”, with the Yellow River Piano Concerto, Wang Leehom, and acrobats. Paul Lee will be taking reservations after both Masses every week until June 29, which will be the last day for reservations.  Only 60 tickets have been reserved, so hurry.

There will be line dance practice today from 12:30p.m. to 2:30p.m. at St. Joseph House.

Friday, June 6 is the first Friday of the month.  We will especially honor the Sacred Heart of Jesus.  Eucharistic Adoration and Benediction will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by a Mass devoted to the Sacred Heart at 7:30 p.m.  All parishioners are invited to attend.

Next Sunday, June 8th is Pentecost Sunday. Bishop Alexander Salazar will celebrate the Confirmation Mass at 11:00 a.m.

今天的彌撒特別為本堂的青少年畢業生。他們均是中學或大學（學士學位）的畢業生。他們分別是：Philip Chow和Cecilia Vong。請各位教友為他（她）們祈禱，求天主降福他們，讓他們在愛天主、及品德與知識上不斷成長。

2.
本堂青年牧民小組將在今年暑假期間繼續舉辦籃球及游泳夏令營。
*  日期由6月29日至8月31日，分兩期合共十週。
*  逢星期日上午9時30分至10時45分練習。
*  每隔一星期日在練習及參與英文彌撒後，更安排午飯、並前往慈幼會青年中心參與比賽或游泳。時間至當天下午2時30分。
*  費用一期五週30元或兩期十週45元。
*   有興趣者請與Virginia Wong聯絡及報名。

聖家會將於7月5日（星期六）舉行年度的荷李活碗活動。內容包括自助野餐、音樂會（中華輝煌之夜、王力宏、雜技、黃河鋼琴協奏曲）及煙花。請於今天6月1日（星期日）至6月29日（星期日）期間或在星期日彌撒後與 Paul Lee 聯絡。只限60張門票，先到先得。

健康舞班將於今天下午12時30分至2時30分在聖若瑟樓練習。

6月6日（星期五）特敬耶穌聖心。晚上6時30分明供聖體及聖體降福。7時30分特敬聖心彌撒。請各位教友參與。

6月8日（星期日）是聖神降臨節、又稱為五旬節。Alexander Salazar主教將主持上午11時的堅振彌撒。
