Bulletin Announcements — 06-22-2014

1. The annual HFS Hollywood Bowl event has been changed to Saturday, July 5.  As usual, we will have picnic, concert, and then fireworks.  The concert will be “An Evening of Chinese Splendor”, with the Yellow River Piano Concerto, Wang Leehom, and acrobats. Paul Lee will be taking reservations after both Masses every week until June 29, which will be the last day for reservations.  Only 60 tickets have been reserved, so hurry.
2. From June 22 through 27, Father Lam will be attending the annual Salesian retreat at the Three Rivers St. Francis Retreat House.  Please pray for him and all other attendees, let them be filled with the Lord’s grace, to continue their mission of shepherding souls.
3. Our parishioner, Augustine C. Young, passed away last Sunday, June 15 and his funeral service and burial was done yesterday, June 21.  Let us continue to pray for the repose of his soul.
4. There will be NO line dance practice today.
5. Friday, June 27 is the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.  Although it is not a holy day of obligation, parishioners are welcome to attend the adoration of the host at 6:30p.m. and a Mass devoted to the Sacred Heart at 7:30p.m.
6. Saturday, June 28 is the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.  We will celebrate a special Mass for the Feast at 9:30a.m.  All parishioners are welcome to attend.
7. There will be a second collection on next Sunday, June 29 for Peter’s Pence, a collection for the Holy Father.

堂區消息  — 06-22-2014

1. 聖家會將於7月5日（星期六）舉行年度的荷李活碗活動。內容包括自助野餐、音樂會（中華輝煌之夜、王力宏、雜技、黃河鋼琴協奏曲）及煙花。請於今天6月22日（星期日）至6月29日（星期日）期間或在星期日彌撒後與Paul Lee 聯絡。只限60張門票，先到先得。
2. 林神父將於22日至27日前往 Three Rivers 聖方濟各靜修院與其他慈幼會會士參加週年退省，請為他及所有參與退省的會士祈禱，使他們充滿主恩，繼續為牧靈而獻身。
3. 我們的教友楊志一（Augustine C. Young）先生於上星期日（6月15日）回歸父家。他的殯葬禮儀已於昨天（6月21日）舉行了。請各位教友繼續為他靈魂安息祈禱。
4. 健康舞班將於今天暫停一次。
5. 6月27日（星期五）耶穌聖心節。雖非當守瞻禮日，晚上6時30分明供聖體及聖體降福，7時30分特敬聖心彌撒。歡迎各位教友參加。
6. 6月28日（星期六）聖母無玷聖心節。上午9時30分在聖堂舉行特敬聖母聖心彌撒。歡迎各位教友參加。
7. 6月29日（星期日）將為教會的福傳工作進行第二次捐獻。
