Announcements
1. Fr. Lam will be going to 2017 Worldwide Overseas Chinese Pastoral and Evangelization Convention in New Zealand from 10/17 to 10/23. After that he will be on vacation from 10/24-30 and will be back to LA on 10/30. For emergency need please contact secretary May Leung. 10/22 Masses will be celebrated by Fr. Joseph Bai; 10/29 Chinese Mass also by Fr. Joseph Bai, English by Fr. Jim Nieblas.
2. 10/18 (Wed.) is the feast day of St Luke the Evangelist. Please go to Mass and pray for his blessings for the church.
3. The 9:30am Mass on 10/21 (Sat.) and 10/28 (Sat.) will be cancel due to Fr. Lam’s absence.
4. The next VIRTUS training will be on Sunday, 11/5/17, from 1:00 to 4:00pm. Volunteers who have not complete the training please pre-register with Denise Woo.
5. Thanksgiving potluck dinner will be held on 11/19 Sunday at 5:00PM. Please invite your family and friend to this fun evening and good food. If you are interested to perform, please contact Richard Cheung and Richard Sun.
6. There will be a children choir academy for children 3yr+. The practice will be 9-9:30 on Sundays in CCD classroom. Start date in late October TBD. Contact Ching Ching or Virginia Kwok.
7. Please leave your number on the window shield if you park at the basketball court.
8. Line Dance practice today from 12:30pm to 2:30pm in SJH #1.

堂區報告
1. 林神父將於10月17日至23日前往紐西蘭參加全球華人福傳大會. 之後, 24日至30 日休假. 10月30日返回羅省. 如有要事, 請與秘書 May Leung 聯絡. 10月22日(星期日) 中英文彌撒由白神父主持. 10月29日(星期日) 中文彌撒由白神父主持; 英文彌撒由 Fr. Jim Nieblas 主持.
2. 10月18日(星期三) 是聖史聖路加瞻禮, 請參與彌撒, 求聖人降福教會.
3. 10月21日(星期六) 及 10月28日(星期六) 早上9時30分彌撒取消,因林神父前往紐西蘭開會及休假.
4. VIRTUS班將定於11/5(日) 1-4時舉行, 請未完成本課程的義工先與Denise Woo報名.
5. 聖堂感恩節聚餐將在11月19日,星期日5:00PM舉行. 歡迎各位帶同親友一起來分享美食和歡樂時光。這是個很好機會邀請教外朋友來臨本堂。有興趣表演娛樂的朋友,請聯絡Richard Cheung 和 Richard Sun。
6. 本堂正籌備兒童詠唱團,歡迎三歲以上兒童參加.主日上午9-9:30在主日學教室練習,本月底開始,請聯絡青青或Virginia Kwok.
