Announcements
1. 1/24 Wednesday, Memorial of Saint Francis de Sales, Bishop and Doctor of the Church. Patron saint of Salesian of Don Bosco. Pray that all Salesians may receive abundance blessing from God through the intercession of St. Francis de Sales. On the same day, Fr. Lam will travel to San Francisco to join the provincial meeting and return on 1/26 Friday. Please pray for the success of their meeting.
2. 1/25 Thursday, feast of the Conversion of Saint Paul, Apostle. Please attend mass and ask for the spirit of daily conversion.
3. 1/27 Saturday, there will be mass at 9:30 am. All are welcome.
4. Fr. Ted Montemayor SDB, provincial of Salesian USA Western province will conduct annual visitation from 2/2 to 2/4. Fr. Ted will celebrate Chinese and English Masses on 2/4 and preside the inauguration of Salesian cooperators.
5. On February 18th, Bishop Edward Clark will come to St. Bridget to celebrate Chinese New Year Mass, conduct ancestors’ veneration at 10am, and give blessings to couples celebrating their 5,10,15,20,25,30,35,40,45,50 years and above wedding anniversary. For Wedding anniversary, please register with Richard Cheung or Stanley Chu. $25 per couple for certificate and lunch with Bishop. The Mass is followed by New Year Fair (year of dog), from 12:30-2:00 pm. Please invite your families and friends to come. If you would like to volunteer for this New Year Fair event, please contact Selina Ko.
6. Starting 2/3 to 4/7, VITA program at St. Bridget Chinese Catholic Church will provide free income tax service on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm to families with annual income $54,000 or lower. Those who are interested may call (323)222-5518 for appointment. Volunteer may contact Raymond Wong for detail.
7. Salesian Community will have OPEN HOUSE on Jan. 28, from 1:00 – 4:00pm. You are all welcome. Please see the poster for details.
8. North America Chinese Catholic Apostolate Convention 2018 will be held in Mary Help of Christians Parish Edmonton, Canada from May 18 to 21. You are all welcome. Please register with Fr. John Lam if you are interested. Please see the poster for details.

堂區報告
1. 1月24日 (星期三) 聖方濟各沙雷氏主教及聖師, 他是慈幼會主保, 求他特別降福慈幼會會士. 同日, 林神父將往三藩市與會長, 各位院長及本堂主任共商慈幼美西會省各項要務, 請各位為此會議成功祈禱. 1月26日 (星期五) 林神父返回羅省.
2. 1月25日 (星期四) 是聖保祿歸化日, 請參與彌撒, 求他賜我們時常悔改歸主的精神.
3. 1月27日 (星期六) 早上9時30分在本堂有彌撒, 歡迎各位教友參加.
4. 2月2日至4日, 美西會長Fr. Ted Montemayor 將蒞臨本堂作週年視察, 於4日(星期日) 在本堂主持中英文彌撒, 並且在彌撒中為本堂協進會主持入會儀式.
5. Bishop Edward Clark 將會在主日2月18日到本堂慶祝新春彌撒, 祭祖典禮及祝福結婚週年紀念, 當日聯合中英文彌撒於上午10時開始. 夫婦慶祝5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45 及50年及以上結婚週年者請與 Richard Cheung和Stanley Chu 登記. 每對夫婦費用為 $25, 包括祝賀證書及與主教午餐. 午餐後中午12時30分至2時30分我們將慶祝農曆新年 (狗). 節目包括猜燈謎, 寫揮春及其它中華文化藝術製作. 請各位教友購買午餐券並陪伴親朋好友參加. 教友如願意協助大會做義工, 請與 Selina Ko 聯絡.
6. 羅省華人天主教堂為低收入人仕免費報稅服務, 限於全家整年(2017) 收入不超過 $54,000. 時間是由2月3日至4月7日, 每週星期六早上9時至下午1時在 448 Cottage Home St., 如有興趣參加者, 請致電(323)222-5518 預約, 如有關免費報稅服務問題, 請與Raymond Wong 聯絡.
