Announcements
1. There will Mass on 2/10(Sat.) at 9:30am. All are welcome. Everyoung will have meeting after the Mass at church.
2. Our heartfelt thanks to Provincial Fr. Ted Montemayor for his visit, celebrating both Masses and commissioning of Salesian Coorporators.
3. Join us for our first Super Bowl party in SJH today 4 Feb, 3:00-6:30 pm. HFS will sponsor refreshment and snacks.
4. Together In Mission provides substantial financial support to 80 parishes, 63 schools and 12,000 students in our Archdiocese. These parishes and schools provide education, ministry and Catholic presence for tens of thousands of our sisters and brothers. The goal for St. Bridget Chinese Catholic Church this year is $11,786. We will carry out second collections every Sunday until we achieve this goal. The theme of the campaign this year is “Let us love (1 Jn 3:18).” Together in Mission provides an opportunity to show our love in deed, not just in word or speech. Thank you for your generosity.
5. Boy Scout Troop 168 would like to thank the parishioners of St. Bridget for their great support of our fundraiser. This was the best fundraiser we have ever had. Due to your generosity we will be able to support the Scouts for Summer Camp, as well as, upgrade/ replace equipment. We are always looking for new members, if you know anyone that might be interested in joining the Boy Scouts, please talk to Ken Dong, or John Louie. Thank You again and God Bless.
6. On February 18th, Bishop Edward Clark will come to St. Bridget to celebrate Chinese New Year Mass, conduct ancestors’ veneration at 10am, and give blessings to couples celebrating their 5,10,15,20,25,30,35,40,45,50 years and above wedding anniversary. For Wedding anniversary, please register with Richard Cheung or Stanley Chu. $25 per couple for certificate and lunch with Bishop.The Mass is followed by New Year Fair (year of dog), from 12:30-2:00 pm. Please invite your families and friends to come. If you would like to volunteer for this New Year Fair event, please contact Selina Ko. CNY lunch tickets are available today for purchase at $5/person.
7. Starting 2/3 to 4/7, VITA program at St. Bridget Chinese Catholic Church will provide free income tax service on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm to families with annual total income $54,000 or lower. Those who are interested may call (323)222-5518 for appointment. Volunteer may contact Raymond Wong for detail.
8. North America Chinese Catholic Apostolate Convention 2018 will be held in Mary Help of Christians Parish Edmonton, Canada from May 18 to 21. You are all welcome. Please register with Fr. John Lam if you are interested. Please see the poster for details.
9. Our parishioner Elain Lee returned to the Father on 1/24. Please pray for her soul. Funeral prayer will be on 2/10 at 1pm at Universal Chung WahFuneral and burial at 3pm at Rose Hills.

堂區報告
1. 2月10日 (星期六) 上午9時30分在本堂有彌撒聖祭, 歡迎各位教友參加. 彌撒後, 耆英會在聖堂開會.
2. 誠心多謝美西會長Fr. Ted Montemayor 蒞臨本堂視察, 為我們主持中英文彌撒及協進會會員入會儀式.
3. 今日下午3時至6時30分歡迎各位參加本堂苐一次在聖若瑟樓舉辦的 Super Bowl party. 聖家組有茶點招待.
4. 『共襄福傳』籌募行動為我們教區內80個堂區、63間學校及12,000位學童提供了急需的財政援助。這些堂區為數以萬計的兄弟姊妹提供教育及宗教服務，使天主教會堅定不移地陪伴着弱勢社群。本年度，羅省華人天主堂的籌募目標為$11,786。我們將於每主日收集第二次奉獻直至達標為止。『共襄福傳』籌募行動今年的主題是「讓我們去愛」【若一 3:18】；這個愛心行動將能使得到我們支援的弟兄姊妹們感受到我們的關愛。讓我們以行動和事實去愛而不只是留於口舌言詞。謝謝各位的慷慨。
5. 童軍168旅多謝大家上星期踴躍支持籌款活動,這是我們籌得最多的一次!因着你們的慷慨,我們的童軍可以參加夏令營,我們也可改善或增添器材.我們仍在招生,有意參加童軍者請洽Ken Dong或John Louie.多謝, 主佑!

Bishop Edward Clark 將會在主日2月18日到本堂慶祝新春彌撒, 祭祖典禮及祝福結婚週年紀念, 當日聯合中英文彌撒於上午10時開始. 夫婦慶祝5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45 及50年及以上結婚週年者請與 Vincent Yip和Stanley Chu 登記. 每對夫婦費用為 $25, 包括祝賀證書及與主教午餐. 午餐後中午12時30分至2時30分我們將慶祝農曆新年 (狗). 節目包括舞獅, 猜燈謎, 寫揮春及其它中華文化藝術製作. 請各位教友購買午餐券並陪伴親朋好友參加. 教友如願意協助大會做義工, 請與 Selina Ko 聯絡. 午餐券已開始發售, $5一位.
7. 羅省華人天主教堂為低收入人仕免費報稅服務, 限於全家整年(2017) 收入不超過 $54,000. 時間是由2月3日至4月7日, 每週星期六早上9時至下午1時在 448 Cottage Home St., 如有興趣參加者, 請致電(323)222-5518 預約, 如有關免費報稅服務問題, 請與Raymond Wong 聯絡.

9. 本堂教友李婁月霞 (Elaine Lee) 於1月24日返回父家, 請為她靈魂安息祈禱. 她的喪禮訂於2月10日下午一時在世界中華殯儀館舉行頌禱禮, 下午3時在Rose Hills 有土葬禮.
10. 健康舞蹈班今天於慈幼青年中心一號室 舉行。
