Announcements
1. Congratulations to Matthew Dasca, Jacob Tsan, Jaycee Wong for receiving their First Communion today. We would also want to extend our best wishes to Cadence Chan, Damien Chan, Lucas Cheng, and Charlise Wong who have also celebrated their First Communion this month at their schools and local churches. May God bless them and their families.
2. 5/10 (Thu.) Ascension of the Lord (actual date). LA archdiocese has changed the celebration to 5/13 (Sun.) for all Catholics to attend Mass.
3. 5/12 (Sat.) Legion of Mary celebrates Our Lady of China Feast Day. Mass at 9:30am, all are welcome. Please pray for Our Lady’s blessing to the church in China.
4. Summer robotic camp: from 6/10-7/29 (8 Sundays). See back page flyer for details. We are also in need of volunteers and laptops. Please contact Aileen Louie or Virginia Wong.
5. St. Bridget is offering scholarships to parishioner’s children, who attend the church regularly and help serve our church community. Eligible applicants should be enrolled in high school (9th to 12th grade) or be an undergraduate in college. Applications can be picked up from Fr. Lam’s office, from Ken Dong or Vincent Yip. Applicants will be evaluated based on service to St. Bridget, and the community, as well as, their academic achievement. All interested applicants should submit their application with a brief essay and presentation describing their service to St Bridget and to the community by May 20th.
6. City of Saints 2018 teen conference will take place on August 3 to 5 at UCLA. Welcome all high school students to participate. Please contact Ching Ching Law or Vincent Yip for registration and additional information.
7. Our next Fundraising Event is Voice of Bridget and Taste of St. Bridget which will be held on 6/3. For those who are interested in Voice of St. Bridget, please submit the audition file by 5/13. Final will be held during Fundraising dinner on 10/13. Please contact Agnes Yeung for more information.

2. 5月10日(星期四)耶穌升天 (原慶祝日) 羅省教區改於5月13日(星期日)慶祝耶穌升天日, 所有教友都應參與主日耶穌升天彌撒.
3. 5月12日(星期六) 聖母軍慶祝中華聖母瞻禮, 歡迎所有教友參加上午9時30分彌撒,求中華聖母特別降福中國教會.
