1. Our sincere thanks to Fr. Su for celebrating Masses with us today.
2. 8/22 (Wed.) Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Please go to Mass at your local church to pray for Our Lady’s blessings.
3. 8/24 (Fri.) St. Bartholomew, please go to Mass at your local church to pray for his blessings for the church.
4. 8/25 (Sat.) there will be memorial Mass at 9:30am for Thomas Lau, all are welcome.
5. Our long time parishioners Mr. Antony Hui and Mr. Alfred Ng have returned to the Father. Please pray for their soul and may God comfort their families.
6. 2018-2019 Religious Education classes will begin on 9/16. In addition to our regular program, there will be a new class for toddlers age 2.5 to 4 using the Montessori-based Good Shepherd program. The children will hear Bible stories, watch them acted out with simple materials, and learn songs and prayers. If your child is interested in participating in this year’s religious education program, please call or message Ching Ching.
7. Holy Family Society regular meeting will be held on August 26, 2018 at St. Joseph House, starting at 12:30pm. Before the meeting, from 11:00am to 12:00 noon – a Cantonese mini seminar “Medical Insurance Titbits” – by professional insurance agent Christina Lam. To accommodate members from the English Mass, we can purchase individual lunch for you ( Price & menu : https://fullmoonhouserestaurantinla.weebly.com/ ).

8. The St. Bridget 79th annual fundraising celebration dinner will be held on October 13 at NBC Seafood Restaurant. Dinner and Raffle tickets will be available starting August 19. For dinner tickets, please contact Agnes Yeung and Selina Ko. For raffle tickets, please contact Hazel Ng. Thank you for your support.
9. Thank you for your inputs. We have the final draft of the corrected donor plaque posted at the Church entrance. Please review, if there is any additional change, please inform Joseph Ng, Maggie Tsui or Raymond Wong.
10. The Chinese choir will have an open house gathering at St Joseph House after Chinese Mass. You are invited to sing with us in the gathering and share how Catholic mass songs influence your faith. Please contact Bruno Sum, Kimmy Lam, Joseph Koay.

12. All young adults ages 18 and older are invited to the California Chinese Catholic Living Camp (CACCLC) this Labor Day Weekend, August 31st – September 3rd in Three Rivers, CA., Fr. James L. Heft from USC will talk about the theme of “Taking Ownership of Faith: Head, Heart, and Hands.” Registration is open till August 24th and is $180 for students/non-working and $230 for working individuals. 6. 主日學將於9/16開學.本年加插以蒙特梭利為基礎的好牧人新班給2.5-4歲兒童, 內容包括聆聽聖經故事, 用簡單材料演繹, 學習唱歌和祈禱.有興趣者請聯絡青青.
